The food now being served is Lao/Thai and delicious. We went there on a Saturday for lunch & it was quiet at first but filled up later on. The waitress took great trouble explaining what all the different dishes were as how many dishes we...would need - there were 4 in our party & we shared everything so were able to try several different things. I sometimes find Thai food too sweet for my taste but this wasn’t - I particularly liked the Dorset trout & the pork sausage skewer.Hope to go again on our next trip to London.More

Originally was hoping to catch lunch on a Sunday but the kitchen was closed. Had a beer instead, it wasn't spectacular and staff seemed disinterested. They were getting ready to have free live music, would have stayed but already had other plans.

I went to this pub to have dinner because I wanted to try their latest pop up, Sarap Filipino BBQ and Lechon. I know Filipino food and I can say that this is the best I have had in a restaurant in the UK. Their...lechon pork belly was very tasty and the skin was very crisp - I highly recommend it. The bistek short ribs was very tender and full of flavour. We also had lechon bun (yummy), pork skewers, chicken inasal, cassava chips and cassava tart with macapuno ice cream. Their prices are very reasonable. The wait staff were very nice and prompt with their service. The place itself, being a pub, was not ideal for a meal like this - it was too noisy because of the other customers who were there for drinks and I could smell the cigarette smoke from those smoking outside the pub. Thankfully, one part of the pub is reserved for Sarap diners, but you still struggle to have a conversation with your dinner companions due to the noise (no fault of Sarap). Those who want to know what real Filipino food is like should go to Sarap. Make sure to book a table - it was full when we were there, thankfully we decided to book in advance. They also serve rice bowls during lunch; I plan to go one of these days. As for dinner, if it were only possible for me to go here every day, I would - the food is that amazing. The bad news is that Sarap will only be in this pub until April 14, after which they will move to another pop up place.More

This lovely pub in Soho is currently host to Sarap - a Filipino pop-up restaurant serving superb and delicious food. I strongly recommend a visit soon while it's still there! And book ahead to make sure you can get a table as it must be...popular. And bear in mind that Sarap in Tagalog means delicious! I took two of my lovely Filipina friends with me to advise on the menu and food choices and I'm glad to say everything we ate was excellent. Best of all was the Lechon roast pork belly - and my friends loved it and said it was cooked just right. The pork was tender and moist and delicious, full of flavour with a little garlic and crispy crackling - a real treat. Bistek short rib beef was lean and tasty and served with roast onions. Tofu and broccoli fritters came with peanut sauce and were crisp and crunchy and tasty. Fish kinilaw with cassava was marinated and delicious. I loved everything we had and thoroughly recommend it! Service was efficient and friendly and helpful too. And it's a lovely pub, with friendly and helpful service at the bar.More

As a British born Filipino growing up on Filipino food. I was dubious about Sarap. This is next level Filipino food. Classy but no pretentiousness the way Filipinos love their traditional home food. Sorry to my Mum, dad, aunties, uncles, Ninangs, ninongs Lola’s and looks.... not...one of you cook this good and that says a lot on a Filipino exxxxxtended family because everyone cooks for each other. This pub has now become our regular meeting place for Christmas Work Drinks as it has enough space for us, a decent range of beers and pretty efficient service. We didn't eat but the food looked good that we saw as we passed through the...restaurant area to the downstairs toilets (which are clean and tidy FYI). Prices are typical for London, I suppose, but not too extortionate!More

My second trip to Donnelly's pop up at the Sun & 13 Cantons, a delightful pub in the heart of Soho, and what a delight it was again! The pheasant dish was an exquisite taste explosion, and I cannot fault any of the many and...varied dishes (including an impressive amount of vegetarian and vegan options) we tried. Cheap as chips (with cheese and truffles. Mmmm...) and a delight from a warm welcome upon walking through the door, to the last mouthful of the impeccable and enticing desserts. Can't wait to to return and try more delicious things while James is still cooking here.More

In the afternoons its a great place to catch up for a chat, but in the evening it gets busy. The service never waivers however and is always friendly and efficient. One of my favourites.

The day before my trip down to London I was emailed a voucher for a free pint by Fuller's brewery, so I popped into this pub to redeem it. There was no quibble from the staff, who were friendly and efficient. The pub is an...interesting building with lots of photos of rock musicians, reflecting it's location near the heart of the music business. The place is clearly very popular and there is a large outside drinking area which was being well used. The main downside for me was the lack of cask ale, though as My pint was complimentary, I can live with that this time!More

Passed this pub when visiting central London and decided to give it a shot. Was drawn in with amazing pale ales served on tap. Brewdog brewery is always a winner. The food served is from a pop up kitchen. And it is amazing. The roasted...pork was moist and tender and well complimented by the flavours matching. The crab and dill on buttermilk and corn bread was out of this world. It was a flavoursome meal and had very friendly staff working there. I highly recommend going there.More
