We were in the area and looking for a dog friendly to have lunch and the Elephant Inn certainly fitted the bill. The staff were very welcoming, immediately brought a bowl of water and some treats for our small dog. The main bar is a...More

Great pub with a good range of beers. It is a Greene King pub so sells mainly from their range. Staff are very friendly.

Standard pub like everywhere else, except the service at the bar is very poor. Grumpy bar maid with no smile and no personality. Also cranked the heating up so high it was like sitting in a sauna. Thank god the fire wasn’t on too!More

Hi Njm, Thank you for the review! Big sporting events can create a big atmosphere to our usually very chilled vibe....but it's definitely fun. So glad you enjoyed your food and were taken care of. See you again soon, Charlotte

Nice pub to watch the football. The Thai kitchen has really gone down hill lately. We ordered a mixed starter for £15.80 and it including a really small portion of mixed fried items! 4 mini spring rolls, 2 x small chicken satay, 2 small chicken...More

Recently visited this old fashioned local pub and was greeted with a smile and a chat. They serve Thai food (which we didn't try) in their restaurant upstairs and in the bar. Background music was not overloud. All in all a nice visit.

Great pub maintaining traditional values of good beer with a choice for normal people and skinny jeans to buy expensive Pale Ale to feed their beard fetish. Stick to the London Prude, which is always excellent-and if it’s not will be replaced from a new...More
