Insanely good pasta!!! Absolutely love it for the price. Also the staff are wonderful. Always see this place packed / with people and it deserves it. Definitely check them out and pop them a visit if in the area!!
We came here for breakfast during the lockdown. The food is very reasonably priced and it is well-prepared. The ingredients are fresh and the staff works like a well-oiled machine. This hole-in-the-wall cafe stole our hearts and we really appreciate the hard work of establishments...like this.More
I’ve always been a fan of Cafe 49, Woking nearby, it has been a regular breakfast or lunch place, a highlight and great attraction is their fabulous and great value pasta and salad bar. This always led to long queues - pre lockdown - of...locals, workers and students. What has been very impressive is the way they have successfully adapted to Lockdown, clever reorganisation of the space has meant more room for customers to safely select food and pay. They now also sell pasta kits to take home for self cooking. Very clear signage and visible cleaning gives great reassurance and the food and dinks remain as good as ever. Congratulations and thanks Team 49 from our team down the road who have been very grateful to have you open and keeping us going as we also came into work.More
Great little cafe near Russell Square tube which has stayed open to deliver excellent coffee and tasty food to people in the area. Visible hygiene and good self-distancing as you order and collect drinks and food. Recommend the toasted sandwiches and cannolis! Well done to...the team at Cafe 49.More
For those of us coming across the pond the five hour time difference manifests itself as wanting breakfast during lunch time. I was a bit late but they graciously accommodated my request for a full English breakfast. Made to order and completely delicious. A few...tables to sit at and you can watch the lunch traffic file in and out. Drink tea and you can look like a local.More
This small cafe only has few tables and chairs to eat in, so not recommend for a big group. But perfect spot for enjoying a generous and tasty breakfast. The scrambled eggs, mushrooms, meat and coffee were all fresh and excellent. Only the bread could...be better.More
We visited for a late breakfast but almost wished we had lunch as the options are amazing all delicious and fresh. I had my take on a vegan breakfast I asked for avocado, tomatoes and mushrooms on toast which was lovely very generous portion and...reasonable prices. They also offer takeout for their lovely looking salads and pasta dishes. A lovely authentic Italian family run business I would say if you fancy a change from all the chain cafes/restaurants around the corner I highly recommend . Thank you for our delicious food and friendly service today we received .More
I visited here today with three friends. It was our first visit although I had previously spoken to them by telephone to check opening hours. They were very amenable by phone and when we visited we were delighted to find seating available for breakfast. It...is a small eating area but comfortable. We all had different breakfasts but in common was fresh, tasty authentic food. They were able to accommodate non-dairy milk and everyone agreed that the scrambled eggs were possibly the best we had ever had!! I loved my mushrooms that actually tasted like real mushrooms. It has an 'artisan' feel without being 'Artisan'! I'm so pleased I chose it as opposed to other mainstream high street outlets. Actually really is an independent! (Even though there is no on site loo!)

Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and
