Indifferent at best. If you want a proper english tea, go to Fortnum and Mason or Harrods. This is not it.

Lots of people, very popular among elderly people, but you get a view of Oxford Street which it is worth the trip

John Lewis looks after its customers with the free coffee and cake voucher, I recently had issues with customer service in the store in Norwich but this is a better store and the cake and coffee is just as good.

The roof garden on the roof of the John Lewis store is open in summer, and a different place to chill out on a warm day. As well, as the cafe, there is a gelateria, a couple of shed-like stalls, and a bar serving, at present, non-alcoholic drinks. The venue is interesting, though the views are not anything special. After a short time queuing I was in the possession of a delicious cup of cappuccino and a delicious fruit cake, enjoying by sitting at the window with a nice view from above of John Lewis rear area.

This is a large self serve restaurant and great for lunch or tea, however, ideal for Cream Tea, Cake and Pancakes.

This a self service cafe and service is always slow when the assistants have to take the orders as well as make the coffee/tea, take the money etc. There was a fair selection of cakes and scones but the cream tea was not obvious to us. We were glad that the customer in front of us asked for clotted cream... More

Neighborhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
