Book Club always has a great vibe of music and the people here are super friendly and chilled. We came here to watch Euros and have a few drinks. We were served by Sydney and Blu, who were amazing and friendly - they got us...great tables and had amazing service. We definitely would come back to the Book Club 🤙🏾More

You contacted my sister via Instagram about my birthday yesterday at your venue. I’m so disappointed at how it all went it was unacceptable. I have been on the phone with Stephanie who works for you planning this for I don’t know how long and...half the time when I called I couldn’t even get through to anyone. I’d booked 3 tables of 6, spoken on the phone to Stephanie asking if that’s ok and that I wanted to stay for the evening and the reason I booked it on Sunday was because Fridays and Saturdays are busy and I didn’t think we’d be able to fit that many people. To which she even said “what a good idea good thinking” however when we turn up to the venue on Sunday at half 6 we’re told they were meant to shut at 6 but they’re keeping it open for another hour for us. I also pre ordered 6 platters and tried numerous times to pay for this over the phone but could never get through to anyone - luckily for me as when we got there the chefs had gone home so the poor bar men who was left to deal with all of this had to get other chefs in to make something for us. And to be frank the food was horrendous no one touched it. The bar man who was trying to help us sort it out was attempting to contact his manager asking what he should do as we obviously wanted to stay till 10 as that’s what I was promised and we hadn’t booked anywhere else and wouldn’t have got anywhere else. The manager was extremely rude and unhelpful and then proceeded to turn his phone off so no one could then contact him. He eventually texted back saying we had to be out at half 8. There was no music no DJ not the book club I know.. and I have no idea why no one would’ve told me any of this when I have called SO many times and spoken to people from the book club who never told me you shut early on a Sunday - I don’t even understand how I would’ve been able to book it if you shut at 6? It’s ridiculous. I was so embarrassed, had an awful night and it ruined my birthday. Got given one free shot and we obviously didn’t pay for the food and that was it. Absolutely atrocious behaviour I’m so appalled and shocked and have never experienced such bad service from a company in my life.More

This place is amazing. I came with my wife and kids and it was incredibly family friendly. The issue I had was I was strongly attracted to the staff who served me, her name was Laura. I’m contemplating leaving my family for this woman oh...my goodness, her service was beyond Belief. I am beyond excited at the prospect of really getting to know this woman. She showed me no interest, but the way she brought my fries to my son... wow. I would recommend this place to anybody.More

I came here with my housemate on Friday last week. We didn't have a booking but the host was able to find us a table. Malika helped serve us and was such a joy!! She seemed to really care that we had a good time...and had us laughing. The rest of the staff were super kind (including the bouncer who had a chat with us outside!). This was my second time here and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a casual drink :) I had the chips and they were really crunchy and deliciousMore
