Another great JA restaurant. Just across the road from Pollen Street but with a slightly more relaxed atmosphere and straightforward menu. As with all JA restaurants, we found the staff friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about the food and wine. Will definitely return!

We booked late so had to eat at the bar. A little cramped, but it gave us access to the cocktail makers and so the drinks kept coming and experimenting was encouraged. Nice little place, good food, but you won't leave full. Although if you're going out after, that's a good thing. We'll be going back.

We have visited Little Social just once before and tonight's visit was of the same good standard we have come to expect in Jason Atherton restaurants. We all chose the fixed prix menu, which we thought was good value at £21 for two courses. Washed it down with a nice bottle of Argentinian Malbec. I like the muted lighting and... More

Have been here a few times - the most recent was dinner last week with friends. Had a lovely beetroot salad to start followed by the cottage pie which is just amazing... it's so tasty and never lets me down. Two of us shared the cote de boeuf which went down a treat. The buratta starter was also enjoyed! Fantastic... More

Friends of our suggested the Little Social. We ended up at 2 other restaurants with similar names before we got to the Little Social. I am glad we persevered. The restaurant buzzed with a wonderful energy. The food was excellent. I would never order a Mac & Cheese, but it sounded so interesting with 4 different cheeses. I am so... More

We went for a babymoon here in January and didn't disappoint. My other half is a foodie and found this place online. Waiting staff were knowledgeable and friendly and the food was lovely. I had a steak and was cooked perfectly as I needed it to be with being pregnant. Desert was amazing. Was really busy with a good atmosphere.... More

Attractive French bistro just off popular and electric Regent St. We ordered a variety of dishes, 2 of us teenagers, 2 of us foodie adults and we all enjoyed delicious meals and attentive service. Catered to our allergies without hesitation. Highly recommend the mackerel, Jerusalem artichoke risotto, mac and cheese, and burger. Great martinis too! Definitely worth a try for... More

We visited for lunch on a rainy day and liked the ambiance of the Little Social. Surprisingly good value for London. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, wine and service.

We had a very nice visit at Little Social tonight. We shared a great bottle of wine, rocket salads, and great mains. The cottage pie was amazing! This is an absolute must-have on the menu! On the down side, the service was lacking a bit. The food arrived promptly (and was delicious!), but there was a marked negative attitude by... More

This is a fabulous little restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, wonderful food and top class service. We were meant to be entertaining friends who cancelled at the last min and we ended up having a really great meal for two. Highly recommended.

With a nod towards some typically French plates, Little Social brings the best of British produce to the table. Quite literally across the street from flagship restaurant Pollen Street Social, Jason Atherton has created a heady mix of classic design, with ox-blood banquettes and intimate dining booths, traditional hardwood chairs, and beautiful antique elm tables. Vintage picture frames and old Michelin maps adorn the walls, offset by eclectic neon. Enjoy indgulent dishes such as Braised Irish ox cheeks, roast marrow bone, sourdough crumb, carrot, horseradish mash and Maple glazed doughnuts, baked Bramley apple, cinnamon & port filling, crème Anglaise & cinnamon sugar, along with a great value prix-fixe lunch & pre-theatre menu (available 6pm-7pm).

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
