Thank you for your kind comments. We apologise about the potatoes, we are sorry that they did not meet your expectations. We will pass this message onto the staff and look into this. Hopefully this problem will be resolved shortly.
Porterford plan usually begins at about 11am. 11am onwards very little gets done at work as I plan what I’m getting from porterfords. It’s hard to have a favourite in an establishment which rarely disappoints, Meats are fantastic, great selection and all fresh. Staff are...More

I’ve been many times to buy lunchtime baguettes which are excellent quality and value. The staff are very friendly and the service fast. Real old school butchers. Top class. The barbeque meats are very tasty as well. Everyone should try.

Found this hidden gem through an online travel magazine recommendation and we were not disappointed. Bacon and sausage baguettes were very good, but the friendly service and graciously offered samples of freshly cooked spicy chicken and beef while we waited were even better. No seating,...More
Just been to Porterfords butchers, great service with a smile and Lovely meat. Used to use them when they were in Bow Lane. Long queue which moved quickly but because I was only at the shop for the butchers side could walk right on in.
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's
glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
