The Elephants head is THE BEST pub in London. It's a proper, family owned Irish-English pub with loads of locals that welcome everyone into the bar.
No gimmicks, nothing contrived. Go in, have a beer (maybe a dance) and enjoy a real pub experience.
Hadn't been in here for some considerable time and was so pleased to see that it hadn't changed.
If you're visiting and want to experience a traditional pub in the middle of a bustling Camden Town, this is the place to go. Good beers and...More
I know and love Camden. This place is not in any way a reflection of Camden. Very unfriendly and hostile. Steer clear. Every staff member is dreadful, the door staff being the worst by far. Openly aggressive and do their job with relish.
I honestly will never be able to understand why people ever go there, the staff are rude, the food is horrible, the beer selection poor, the music is always the exact same playlist, the room is way too bright to relax and is always full...More
First impressions are it’s a decent London boozer playing a good selection of music but that’s where the positives stop
Service at the bar was poor and the food was awful. Fish & chips was terrible and the peas looked liked they dried out for...More

Cool London boozer with great music and people dancing. Doorman on smoking area door very rude and some slightly unsavoury and aggressive characters hanging around outside. Not a place with a particularly friendly vibe to be honest. Much better pubs can be found in London.
Famous for its sprawling cluster of markets and shops as well as for an embrace of all things counter culture, Camden offers a concentrated version of London street life. From bargain shopping and people watching to rubbing elbows in its abundance of pubs and bars, Camden is the place to be for many a Londoner. It is also home to some of the hottest live music venues in Europe. As packed as Camden High
Street and its tributaries can get during the weekends, this neighborhood is right next to some of the city's most beloved outdoor spaces, namely Regent's Park and Primrose Hill.
