Called in for a drink and snack. Nice pub/decor and good choice of beers, only problem was the roaming dog. Think it belonged to the people on a nearby table but unfortunately it was left to wander around the pub. Constantly coming under our table...and when our food was served it wouldn’t leave us alone. Not 100% sure whose dog it was but there needs to be a rule to keep dogs under control. Won’t be going back because of this.More

The building from the outside has been well maintained and love the old features so I was excited to go inside. The features of an old pub inside also continues but then it quickly loses its charm. On a Friday evening I observed the people...as being between 40+ in age yet they were playing commercial radio music that suits a younger crowd. This created a Strange ambiance to me. We ordered food from the thai restaurant, amazingly it came out within 2 minutes- seriously! I’m guessing it’s served from a Bain Marie rather then being cooked and served up individually? The food was nice but it wasn’t amazing. Over priced cocktails were a bit sad at £10 each - not even served in a special cocktail glass to make it feel like you’re drinking a fancy expensive drink. Overall I felt a bit disappointed but you can’t make everyone happy.More
We visited the Packhorse over a year ago just for a drink and made it a mission to return and try the Thai food. We called in for the lunch time sitting 12-3, lovely pub and credit due to the young lady working the bar...who was super friendly and helpful. The food was awesome (Pad Gra Praow, Duck, Kee Mao Ped). Will definitely be returning and try out other dishes when we are next in Chiswick!More

Never been to this part of London before and as a hot day we tried this place. Wow is it good. Lovely friendly and helpful service. Young lady had great advice on the range of craft beers. You can get a flight for £6.50 of...three. Lovely pub too, cute little beer garden. Has rock nights etc. Wish we lived closerMore

The staff were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. They were really fast and efficient at faking orders, the empty glasses were taken from our table frequently and there was a great atmosphere in the pub! One of the best things was that...they were open until 1am which no other pub/bar in the area does. The only downfall would be the drinks prices which are quite high but other than that I would definitely recommend!More

Been before for drinks in here a few times and always liked the pub. Had dinner here last night with some friends and food was great and really good value. We had a few drinks in the pub area before and after our meal. Really...nice Thai food and all staff in the pub and restaurant area were very friendly. There were 6 of us and we all ordered different starters and mains and everyone enjoyed it. Will definitely be returning!More

Highly recommended! Came last night to watch the England match. Easy to book online. Very safe covid measures. Superb and attentive table service throughout. Don't eat but the Thai food looked delicious! Lovely character to the pub. Great job 👍🏽More

The Thai food at this pub is great and post lock-down seems to have got even better. The menu is simple but a great cross section - expect to order meals by the plate (I.e. something and rice, something and fried rice). The pad Thai...and red curry are firm favourites with us, and the Thai fish cakes and satay are very flavoursome starters. Given this is a fullers pub, the craft beer selection is beyond what normally is offered as well. We keep coming back as it’s the best we have had in Chiswick and reminds us of many happy memories in Thailand.More

Best Thai food I have ver had. I haven't been to Thailand yet but my friends who have, said the food here is better than there. Just thinking about their pad Thai and Khao Pad makes my mouth so watery 😋😋 I can here so...often that I've become friends with the staff, who are always lovely and super kind! I love this pub, it’s always friendly, clean and serves great Thai food. During the strict covid rules I always felt very safe in here and can’t wait for them to open again. I’ll definitely be back.

This is one of our favourite Thai restaurants in London (note my wife is Thai and we regularly visit Thailand, so we know a little about the food) and a great place for craft beer. The staff are friendly and the place is spacious and...comfortable, which is particular important now given social distancing. They are also taking the Covid rules seriously, which gives peace of mind. A fantastic gem and highly recommended!More

First mistake, to take a 6 people reservation at 8:15 PM when the kitchen closes at 9pm... Yes! We are in a Pandemic but still eating out should be a pleasurable experience. The waiters were frantic and they just wanted us to sit, order, bring...the food and go. No finesse, no welcome, total chaos with the orders. and so, so food! The worst was a short, plump waitress with blond short hair, she ruined our evening by acting like a commander in the battlefield. It was a very unpleasant experience with very lacking food. Can you imagine? We ordered starters, main courses, side dishes and lots of drink, just for them to come back to tell us that because they wanted us out by 10 PM they were going to bring everything together. It was 8:24 PM,.. one and half our before closing! The food was less than mediocre in taste and portion size... with so many good Thai restaurants in Chiswick, I do not know how can they compete!!! The noodle dishes they all tasted the same. The stir-fry dishes were small, starter size. The Salt & pepper chilli chicken wings were basically three little pieces of deep fried chicken with no salt, pepper or chilli... For me, the perfect example of what a restaurant experience SHOULD NOT be! I will be packing away, riding my old horse miles and miles away from this unfriendly pub turned into an Far-Eastern nightmare.More

First time I visited a pub since the pandemic so was a little nervous. All very clean and organised, names taken at the door, distanced and friendly. Food was lovely, Thai. Felt very welcome.
