I love British food and this is really excellent British food but don't expect to pay fish and chips prices! Plan for about $100 per person. The Tasting menu cuisine had delicious Scallop with pine nut and artichoke, then the lamb was supurb and the sorbet made the meal unforgetable. I was glad that they accept American Express cards because... More

It's one of the finest places I have ever had the pleasure of dining. Everything was perfect, quality of food, wine list and table service. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very warm and cosy. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciate amazing food.

Restaurants have made bar food their own. In fancy kitchens serving fancy dining rooms, chefs have found almost inconceivably fancy ways to make pub and roadhouse food. The burgers are ground to order and slapped on rolls fresh out of the oven; the hot dogs are squirted with proprietary condiments; the Tater Tots are enrolled in elite private day care.....Best... Five fields have been on my ‘to eats list’ over the past year and it couldn’t have been more fitting to get a booking a few days after getting its first Michelin star. I arrived Friday evening for dinner accompanied by my brother-in-law. Ill break this review down into 3 areas, food, service and overall experience. Food- We opted for... More

I recently visited five fields while on a trip to London . I tried to book a few week before going but there was no availability so went on a waiting list in the hope that someone would cancel and to my delight got a call to offer a table. We arrived to a warm reception and stunning dinning room.... More

My wife booked as part of my birthday celebrations to have dinner at Five Fields. What an experience we received, simply outstanding. The service we received was so intensely personal yet not intrusive. Every element of the evening was thought of and executed to perfection. The meal itself was not really a dinner but a sensory experience. The flavour combinations... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
