Basket of fish tasted like it was soaked and slow cooked in old cooking oil and the tartar sauce was like sickly mayonnaise. Lucky I had a coke to wash the flavour away and I left the restaurant feeling sick.

Fantastic pub/restaurant in heart of Piccadilly. Had a terrific meal for 8 people. Great menu: British favourites cooked expertly and served imaginatively. Generous portions at very reasonable prices, especially considering the location. 3 courses plus drinks averaged out at £25-£30 per person. Exceptional service from...More

Good fish and chips, nice beer selection! Prices are very reasonable considering the locale. 16 quid for a pint and the fish and chips. Small portion was plenty for me. Second floor is considerably quieter and better for dining, first floor for pub goers. Second...More

On a recent London trip, I was determined to find fish and chips that would zap the bad taste of my original encounter with this quintessential British specialty years ago. The fish and chips I had then came from a run-down pub in the city...More

Staff were awfully rude at the bar when serving. They even made jokes in front about me whilst pouring my drinks. Absolutely shocking!

8 real ales well kept and served at the right temperature. Good modern atmosphere. Music not too loud. If you're passing, drop in.

A modern feel to this bar makes it less 'pubby' but still pleasant nonetheless. Nice decor, god selection of beers and standard Nicholson menu. Lots of city crowd in here for business lunches.

We have been here several times. Each time we come to London. We have at least 2/3 visits for our breakfast. Pleasant staff. Good food.

I pop into the Clarence every time I'm in London, and I'm never disappointed. The food is tasty, and the range of cask ales is great. On top of that, the staff are always friendly. Definitely worth the turn off Piccadilly!

Had a full English breakfast in upstairs bar as part of a group of 10. Good service and tasty. Big portions of 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 eggs plus baked beans, mushroom, tomato & toast - all for £6.95! Worth a try!

world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed

London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is
haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is
