This place, although famous for its cakes, does a wonderful roast chicken and salad. I tried this recently (the place has closed down now!!!!) and was not disappointed.

Came here to treat my grandchildren for behaving perfectly through a long formal lunch at a restaurant nearby. They chose some of the mini cakes called ‘corks’ and said they were very tasty. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There’s indoor and outdoor seating....More

Yes, today I had had lunch with my girlfriend and there was a large piece of mud in my green salad. Last time here.

Whatever the occasion, if you need a cake, or brownies, this is the place to come. Definitely the best I've ever had.

Staff here are so helpful and friendly. Tea is good and a good size for the price. Open plan but comfy enough if you want to get together with colleagues or burn a few hours. I would definitely go there again.

The brownies here are to die for. Although a little pricy for a brownie, it is definently worth it. They have a variation of flavors you can choose from. If you´re in the city you need to make the stop.

The staff are very helpful and the coffee is pretty good. However the ground floor space this cafe occupies in the Gherkin is pretty barren and stark. Chairs are uncomfortable and the whole place has an air of overuse and tiredness. Not really a great...More

Been here a few times and it is pretty consistent. The cakes all look appetizing. A nice place for a quick catch up.
