It's a very nice bar indeed. However, when ordering drinks be very careful a 12.5% 'discretionary' service charge is included. This makes an already very expensive drink completely over the top. They could do with toilets on the same floor not a couple of floor underground!

Elegant, peaceful, and charming. I can't think of a better place to sit for a few hours and rest your feet between shopping and museum visits. The service was excellent and felt personal. The 2nd Flush Malabar Darjeeling Tea was delightful. The festive pastries were a treat. Joao and Manjula looked after us well. I will definitely return.

Quiet and small corner inside the lobby of the hotel, we enjoyed not only really good food (salads, burrata, etc.,) but also excellent beverages and probably the best service of the entire area / region. A complete “Lord”, served us during the few hours we spent in the noon of a raining Sunday, before departing to the Airport. Latter we... More

The team at the Landseer Restaurant, headed up by Manjula, provided our party of ten guests with an excellent Afternoon Tea experience on 24 January 2015. I had booked the reservation via afternoontea.co.uk which was promoting a special offer at the time. The hotel provided the exact service as promised in the offer. All of my guests were delighted by... More

What an enjoyable couple of hours. Afternoon tea with free glowing Sussex sparking wine which was made even more delightful with the presence of Marjuna who served us. She was charming and very informative and made our afternoon even more exceptional. Thank you

We had breakfast here multiple times during a stay at the Bloomsbury Hotel. It is a nice setting for breakfast. The food selection was generally good and the staff helpful.

Had afternoon tea here with friends and if we hadn't had their company we would have found the experience somewhat flat. Uninteresting sandwiches and cakes and we had to ask twice for cream and jam to go with the scones. Not offered a choice of teas, only tea or coffee! Tea was English breakfast and far too weak for me.... More

Part of The Bloomsbury Hotel and a great place to meet friends. A good selection of food and drinks served by the very attentive staff and being next to the Hotel lobby is very convenient.

This place is perfect for business lunches, it is unlikely that anything will go wrong! The food is very pleasant but is a slightly joyless affair. Nice tho?!

Not quite what I had expected considering the press it had been given. Although most of that came from the Hotel itself. Staff were really good though as they were throughout the hotel!

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
