It's been months since my last trip to London and I'd been dreaming of a special breakfast at Bea's. So I was distraught to find that it's now gone for good, no forwarding address. I will really miss the half and half breakfast with a side of candied bacon and bottomless coffee...Unfortunately there aren't many other good breakfast options nearby.

Located under the old railway arches on Maltby Street is this real gem of a place offering American style breakfast without the over sized portions. I opted for the blueberry pancakes with a side of maple cured bacon and a super fruit smoothie. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The place definitely offers an unusual dinning experience under the... More

There is no denying this place Is incredibly unique, and the food is fantastic. The pancakes are amazing and I'd go for half and half every time. A great place to take visitors to impress them, no doubt about that, we have done it many times! Really fantastic food, super indulgent and great value in a quirky location.

Delicious food and cute setting (although uncomfortable seating). The French toast is delicious. Recommend it.

Bea's Diner is a nice, fresh and raw little place. Loved the food. You must go for a half and half. It gives you the best of what the diner has to offer - yummy American pancakes and eggs Benedict. It's a crime not to add the maple bacon as well. Great place if you like good honest food. Coffee... More

Tucked away in Maltby Street, I stumbled upon this little gem, only open Saturdays 9-2p.m (or earlier if they run out!) I was disappointed with Maltby Street Market (offshoot of Borough Market by traders who were fed up with the high cost of rentals), just a few unusual food places, kangaroo anyone? but this American diner made my trip more... Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
