We had dinner at the Apero and it was amazing. Chris Golding, the Head Chef, was just pure class. Food, drinks, atmosphere were excellent. Big thank you to Chris, for a special evening and excellent food. PS: Pear Panacotta was out of this world.

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

With leather snugs, Spanish tiled floors and exposed bricks this intimate London restaurant and bar is where South Kensington chick meets Mediterranean zest. Apero chef Chris Golding isn't interested in stuffy gastronomy but creating great, unpretentious food packed with colour and fresh seasonal, ingredients. His easygoing menus are perfect for a relaxed meal, from breakfast to supper. Highlights include our popular sharing menus - flavourful Mediterranean-style eats that work at any hour - and the great value £12.95 lunch special. Apero's bar is a convivial place to sample our quirky signature cocktails, all of them inspired by the collection at the Victoria and Albert museum.
