We didn't want to pay over the odds for a continental breakfast at our hotel, so we popped over road for a full English.
The raffles breakfast and a latte cost £6.50 each and set us up for the day.
Friendly and attentive staff.

Nice little cafe close to Paddington station. Would recommend the Chefs special breakfast as great value for London. Our hotel wanted 30 quid for breakfast, but for just over 7 quid at Raffles, I was fuelled up and ready for a busy day. Service was quick, efficient and polite. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

We went to this lovely place for a dinner date and despite the food being really good, what really made us write this review was the treatment we received there. The host was not only polite but also extremely lovely and kind. This dinner date experience was so great that made us decide to go back for breakfast the next morning, which was also really tasty.

Was looking for a breakfast as had time to kill before train. Even considered travelling to Hammersmith to Bills (average) or using the facilities in the station (last resort!), but found Raffles about 2 minute walk from the Hilton Paddington entrance.
It's not the Savoy, but the staff were very welcoming. Had a very nice breakfast (see photo) with tea (asked for strong, so bag was left in and was provided a spoon and saucer). The tea and two rounds of toast were included. With an extra cup of tea, it was 10.90....and the background music was good too. Good flow of people (from travellers to workmen). Recommended.

I popped in here for breakfast and was not disappointed. The restaurant is a very short walk from Paddington Station. It's a popular venue but I was seated, served and received my breakfast in 5 minutes. I went for "Eddies Special" and received the full English Breakfast experience for just over £6, The food was great! Excellent value and very efficient and friendly service. Full Marks.

I noticed that the toast came out about 10mins before the actual breakfast and this wasn’t isolated to just me. I observed this with several other tables. I think organisation could be a lot better. Food quality was pretty average.

Lovely cheap and cheerful greasy spoon cafe, reasonable and tasty! We had two full english breakfast- chef specials with a side of hash browns and could not fault it! Seemed like a popular spot with locals and tourists alike. Would return!

Raffles is one of those adorable places that makes you feel like you are a part of a community you are just visiting. My mom, sisters and I stayed around the corner in a cute hotel and on the morning we arrived, even though it seemed packed, they found us a table and we had big coffees and teas within seconds! After a transatlantic flight, it was manna for the soul! Sunny is the lovely owner/manager and he welcomed us every morning as we came in and ordered our "Big English Breakfasts." Everything was incredibly tasty and piping hot. I don't normally start my day with eggs/bacon/sausage and toast, but for some reason, in London on vacation, I did and Raffles is the quintessential English cafe to do that... it was like being in an episode of East Enders at the Caf!! Many thanks to the staff for their amazing service. It's a busy establishment and they do a great job.

Raffles Cafe was located within walking distance from my hotel. We tried it for breakfast one morning. The food was served promptly and was tasty. It was very reasonably priced. We ended up eating here each morning. The owner began to recognize us and waved us to "Come in!" This is not a glamorous restaurant, but that was not important to us. The staff is friendly and serves good food.

We got the dinner menu for about £15 for 2 dishes. It was worth it. Food was good, nothing brilliant but good! The working stuff was absolutely awesome and sweet and the decor was beautiful too. The downside - maybe a bit overpriced drinks.
Other than that, we enjoyed our evening.

Went to this café for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I live close by, and I've been back three times. The breakfast is very tasty and excellent value, especially for the area. The service is first class and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
I would highly recommend this place and I'm looking forward to going in the evening to try their steak.

During quick visit to London, I paid a visit to Raffles for breakfast this morning as it was just up the road from my hotel. What a great find, great value for money, great menu with breakfast choices to suit any appetite. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, providing excellent service with piping hot food. Well worth a visit, would highly recommend this place.

We had a great breakfast at Raffles.
The selection is almost overwhelming, but fight through and make your selection and you won’t be disappointed.
I asked to substitute bacon with tomato and that was no problem at all.
Excellent tea and coffee.
My only problem was that I was so comfortable and so enjoying being there that I forgot when our train was due to leave Paddington. Fortunately my wife remembered.

You can’t go wrong here , the fare is good ol’ greasy spoon cafe in the heart of Paddington area ! We had breakfast here and it had ample choice for all types of tastes and diets ! Prices are reasonable and worthwhile !!! In a street full of chains and high prices this is a great place to come and eat !! And it won’t dent your wallet !!

We ate here 3 times during our stay in Paddington. Once for breakfast, twice for lunch.
Staff were amazing, super friendly and accommodating.
Good food and very prompt service. Felt as if we were eating in a home away from home.
