Stopped here for a early dinner after shopping around Covent Garden. Didn't have to wait or book and was seated straight away which was great. The burger we both had was so tasty and how a burger should taste. The chocolate pudding I had was to die for so tasty and well worth having. Only negative was that we were... More

Came here as a couple, shared the garlic bread to start - small loaf with garlic butter. Tasty but small. I ordered the prawn linguine which was absolutely delicious. Other half had Italian steak which was very tasty but he was not asked how he would like it done - came out well done. Sides are what stopped it from... More

We've never visited a Jamie restaurant before & thought it might trade on his name a bit but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We ate early as we were going to the theatre but everything was good - food, wine & service. Pleasurably impressed!

Had a great lunch with tasty food from set seasonal menu (varied starters, and choice of 4 mains and 4 desserts), plus glass of prosecco, all for £28. Service good in busy restaurant, and little to fault with delicious, plentiful and varied courses. Enjoyed by all!

Visited this restaurant on a Friday afternoon for late lunch. Basement table (environment was crummy and smelly from adjacent kitchen). Food was good, burger was excellent, Pizza was decent. Service on the 'relaxed' side. Make sure you are seated upstairs (street level)

Vegan and vegetarian meals were both unimaginative, uninspiring bland and tasteless. The Vegetarian meal had to be returned to the kitchen twice for reheating and came back with what seemed like more added water each time leaving it tasteless. The vegan sent meal back without even trying it, after looking at the uninspiring outward appearance, no vegetables were added, it... More

I have been quite a few times, most of these with friends and family visiting London. If in Centre and want to try something more fancy then the Market of Covent Garden is the best location and Jamie´s is pretty decent. Food always good and tasty. Pizza -not as good as a proper Italian but- decent and with nice flavours.... More

Description
JAMIE'S ITALIAN COVENT GARDEN A partnership between Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, Jamie's Italian has won thousands of fans for its delicious and affordable food since launching their first restaurant in Oxford in May 2008. The Jamie's Italian menu is based on dishes you'd find people eating all over Italy, made with care but delivered without fuss. The family-friendly restaurants are all about serving up rustic, Italian food made using the best possible ingredients, plus fresh pasta that's made on-site every day, and an award-winning children's menu, too. Jamie's Italian Covent Garden, right in the heart of central London, is perfectly located for the West End's theatre-goers, weekend shoppers, tourists and locals alike. The restaurant is small but perfectly formed, and always buzzing with activity - make sure you stop by and soak up the atmosphere while tucking into some delicious food and a cocktail or two. They open up the outdoor space in the summer too, which is perfect for relaxed lunches and al fresco dinners when the weather's fine.
