I just wanted to thank everyone at The Olive for making my surprise 70th birthday lunch such a special occasion. You liaised with my husband beforehand to organise all the seating arrangements and menu choices for 35 guests, so that on the day, everything worked really smoothly. The food and drink were perfect, and you looked after us like family. A day to treasure and remember.

I visited this restaurant a couple of times when I am in the area. I like the friendly atmosphere and the food. Service is fast, food is delicious, tasty and reach in flavor. I definitely recommend this place! Good value for money!

The olive is a nice little gem by Leytonstone station. Me and a friend went here for a small bite to eat after some shopping, the ambiance was nice and cosy with a lovely rustic feel. They service was amazing with the waiting staff very attentive while we was there. We ordered a mix of hot mezze which was very tasty and filling and the cost was very reasonable I would definitely be back again!

This restaurant is local and we have been using it since it opened. The food never disappoints, always very tasty. There is a good selection of vegetarian dishes for friends who can't eat meat. We went recently though, before this very cold spell, and it was freezing in there despite the radiators being hot and them having a couple of extra electric heaters. We had to put our coats back on. We'll be back, but only when the weather has warmed up.

Went to the Olive with a family group of 5. Food and service was amazing. Everything was well presented and plenty of it. We all had different dishes including vegetarian options and everything was tasty and perfect. We will be back soon!!!!!

Great food and friendly service.
Poor review is only for the fact that we discovered at the end of our meal that the waiting staff at restaurant do not receive any of the tips left.
Very poor show from the restaurant management.
Treat your staff better and give them the gratuity that customers leave in good faith that it will go to those who worked to earn it.

Not once have I ever been dissapointed with this place - we go regularly when visiting friends and for such a reasonable place the food is literally perfect I can’t believe this place is never more busy. Restaurant is laid out beautifully and staff are always welcoming and quick service. Even takeaway no shortcuts are taken

This restaurant was somewhere we visited regulary before lock down and we were so pleased when they opened for take away at that time too.
Take away during lockdown was lovely, but so nice to be able to go back.
I am not yet going out too much but with the nice weather was able to sit outside so visited here and it was as good as ever!

I love this restaurant. I have ordered from here during lockdown and the food has been as good as when I visit. I have also visited now lockdown is easing and the food and service is as good as always. Social distancing, masks and new rules are all abided by and I felt we were safe and looked after. Highly recommend this restaurant and hope people go back to ensure it stays open.

Amazing meal last night had the Calamari starter and mix grill for the main cannot fault the food here been many times before and is spot on every time staff are friendly and services is quick good choice on the menu to pick from will return again soon 👍🏻

We ate outside one evening. The service was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious: some beautifully cooked grilled sea bass and prawns, as well as great salads and cold starters. We visited by chance but would definitely come back.
