Had lunch here. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. The menu is seasonal with a specials section and the food is good. Drinks menu is varied with a large selection of local Gin. A couple of drinks and two mains cost £40 including service charge.

Excellent cooking, good selection of beers around £20-30 a head. I had a perfect Swordfish steak with super vegetables.

I booked a table here to have a celebratory lunch on the 8th May. Six of us went, five opted for the fish and chips, with the sixth having the veggie option of a goats cheese and something (can you tell I'm not the vegi!). Service was good, friendly but not over-friendly. Food was really nice, we will absolutely be... More

Got there late, around 10pm, and were sad to hear the kitchen was closed when we asked for a table. Lucky the waitress was just messing with us, and we quickly got a seat! Good banter with the staff and some patrons throughout the evening. We had a lighter meal - a meat/cheese board which was really nice, and a... More

After a long walk around the city my friends and I came across Studio 6 by accident but thought it looked quirky so gave it a go. The staff were polite and friendly. We drank at the bar and then moved inside. The meal selection is not huge like most restaurants but you can find something you will like on... More

Good simple food: steak and chips with a nice of of salad at a reasonable price for the area. Try the freshly squeeze orange juice, so nice.

We had been on an excellent Duck Tour & were looking for somewhere reasonably priced but good quality. We found Studio 6 after passing by a few pubs and pizzerias- it was worth the wait. The staff were under pressure, but we were treated very respectfully and efficiently. I had a burger and it was just right- great flavor, succulent... More

I visited yesterday with family for some lunch. I appreciate it was a hot day and it was busy but the service was poor. One waitress was incredibly abrupt. We ordered a chicken sandwich that came out as a burger, whilst we didn't complain as it was close enough, no explanation was offered. We had to go and request cutlery,... More

Only found this place by chance as we were staying at a near by hotel. Popped in for a late drink, great atmosphere without being to loud and over the top - we were the oldest ones in there. Pleasant surroundings and a very nice bottle of wine too. A great place to relax and watch the world go by.

Enjoyed lunch here, as we wandered along the Thames. In the middle of a range of shops in what looks like a portacabin, we were well impressed with the food and service. We had calfs liver and a chicken burger, both were excellent.

Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
