Nothing fancy - just honest, freshly prepared food. Lasagne is simply superb (mixed grill never disappoints). The boss keeps it all ticking over (and she’s good for a chat). Always packed at lunch time but worth waiting for a seat. A real gem.

We go monthly. My husband dreads his trip to Moorfields which is virtually opposite. This cafe helps the start to our day. Great staff. Brilliant cafe. Lovely breakfast.

My breakfast choice is usually the bacon and egg sandwich. This would have been fantastic if not for the dull white sliced bread. Crusty/bloomer bread please people!
