We were looking for a traditional British pub for our last night in London. This certainly was just that! The decor, atmosphere, and food are all very traditional. We made a reservation and walked in, but there was no clear hostess stand. We had to...More

Although this does have some tourists in it this is definitely 'a local' pub. We have visited many times now and every time smiley chatting (but very busy) staff and friendly locals too-something you don't find as much these days in Central London. There are...More

This pub was close to our hotel near Paddington Station. We ate there several times and it was great. We had fish and chips and steak and ale pie.

We stayed nearby to this pub and went in several times, once for fish and chips-always good, and other times for drinks, sometimes quite crowded, a local "hang out" after work hours, good variety of beer, great place to "people watch" when in the Paddington...More

A really good traditional London pub with a great selection of beers and ales and a good lunch menu. Comfortable, cosy and very friendly we chose the steak and ale pie with vegetables and the calves' liver and mash which were most satisfying! Brilliant!
