Never had pie, mash and eels before. Was good, eels were cooked well and pie was hot and pastry had good texture. The parsley liquor was very under seasoned though, but was easy to rectify. Staff were very friendly. Value for money was superb for...More

Pie and mash along with jellied eels, if you can stomach them, are the traditional mainstay of the east end. These days of course tastes are more eclectic and steak and kidney now vie alongside beef chilli, chicken and ham and other flavours. The main...More

Yet again, another fantastic, reasonably priced meal from a friendly eatery. I love coming here. Hope to be back again soon.

architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole
of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park
and a number of related buildings (and one world
famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World

Hi, Unfortunately we don't operate a bookings system. The busiest time at the weekend is 12pm-2pm so eating outside of these times makes finding a seat slightly easier.

Goddards at Greenwich serves London's most traditional meal of pie mash and liquor. This meal can be traced back through the 1800's and is an important part of London's food history. We are open everyday serving handmade pies which are baked throughout the day. We are a family run business that has been serving pie and mash since 1890. Our air conditioned licensed restaurant can seat 100 people and we also offer desserts and cold drinks. We look forward to serving you London's most famous dish!
