Yoobi sits a couple blocks off the Oxford-Regent Street shopping area, and is worth seeking out. The sushi was fresh and tasty, service prompt. We sat in the window and had some great people watching to top it off.

Every time I go to London, don't I miss an opportunity to go from Yoobi. The food is delicious, the place cozy and not that expensive to be in London. I love the temaki with spicy tuna tartare

Very good option for a quick meal in center London. We where with the kids. It was their introduction to "Japanese" food and they love it. Simple menu and well done. They offer gluten free options with almost every dish and alternative, including gluten free soya sauce. Great!

Simple menu, but that is part of the success of the place. Tuna, salmon, and yellowtail hand rolls. Delicious meal. Nearby shopping areas. Waitstaff good.

After spending the morning at the British Museum I was walking to the Royal Academy and found myself feeling hungry, by a bit of luck my wandering route had brought me outside Yoobi. I was given a nice friendly welcome on walking through the door and after getting settled a waiter explained how thing worked. This is a sushi type... More

Discovered this while shopping in Soho and gave it a try. Surprisingly good, but not the best sushi I've ever had. A little pricey for what you get. Yet I enjoyed it as it was an interesting fusion take combining Latin American and British flavours with traditional Japanese. Service was rapid, but as it was quiet, staff tended to converse... My partner and I had a fantastic lunch at Yoobi. The sushi rolls were absolutely amazing. There's a simple menu with a guide about how much food to order - you definitely need three of the cones if you're hungry. There's some nice touches such as the decor and the hand-washing sink in the restaurant. It's a bit on the... More

Went with my mother to have a nice dinner, sushi were not holding together. I don't know whether it is the rice or something else, but after dip in soya there was barely anything to eat. The prices are quite high, especially for the amount of food you get. Not the best sushi I have ever had

Launched in April 2012, Yoobi, London’s first temakeria, takes inspiration from Brazil and pushes the sushi experience in an exciting direction. Freshly made temaki rolls, featuring uniquely developed flavour combinations, are served to eat in or enjoy on the go. A range of creative recipes use the highest quality natural ingredients; from their own rice blend to the finest sustainably-sourced fish and fresh wasabi to locally sourced vegetables. The name is derived from the word ‘yubi’, Japanese for fingers, which reflects the ‘hands on’ nature of Yoobi’s food.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
