Great food, different experience

You might know that already but the entrance of the restaurant is a bit different as in you'd think you're going into a sex shop or sex bar. The place is dark, good for romantic dinner. Drinks are delicious and food was really great. We ordered almost everything on the menu and without exception it... read more

Gorgeous Spanish food! Got taken here as a surprise and got taken through the 'back entrance' fantastic really fun enjoyable place to eat! Staff were lovely and the food was to die for! The picture is the back entrance which is a must if you are surprising someone.

This is one of the few "mexican" restaurants that comes close to being authentic. The tacos are fantastic and highly recommended if you know your tacos from Texmex. Service is efficient and friendly

Really well priced and fun. We went late night after the theatre and left for the night bus a couple of hours later with a few tequillas, salads and tacos making it the end of a good evening. Friendly waiting staff and food that tasted and looked fresh. Not at all pretentious and very well priced. A definate one to... More

Went here last night for a quick bite to eat for my boyfriends birthday, we had a limited time as we were going to see Eddie Izzard. The soft tacos are amazingly tasty, small in size so you do need to order a fair few! Good selection of tequila and the cocktails are great. The staff are really friendly, and... More

Went there last night and after walking around for a bit ended up in Moor Street and entered the Cafe "La Bodega Negra". The waited kindle said "its behind on Compton .. Number 9... It does not look like a restaurant". He was right it does not ... It looks like a fully fledged Sex Shop! Entered the neon covered... More

We come here quite often, and always love the food and cocktails, but last night was a real let down. Our bill came and despite being told cocktails were 2 for 1 before 6:30 we were charged for all 4 (we ordered all before the deadline) and there were 2 bottles of beer on the bill even tho we only... We definitely over ordered here but my partner and I really like to get a good cross section of the menu. It was a tough one to decide on because some of the dishes were amazing whilst other were not good. The broad bean salad and the soft shell crab are to be avoided. Also do not order the quesadilla... We arrived when it first opened and I can't fault our visit. Staff were friendly and Georgie was attentive and kept us entertained! The venue is quite loud but this adds to the experience of your evening. Our food was all lovely, it came out really quickly too. After food we moved to the bar, Which was really busy, and... More

I am very disappointed with La Bodega Negra after eating there yesterday evening. Firstly we were very rushed, we had only just sat down and we were being pestered to order our wine/choose our food - in a nice restaurant I don't expect to feel like they want you in and out as quick as possible. After ordering the tasting... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
