Very good Sunday roast (pork). All safety measures in place- felt safe. Staff very attentive. Lovely food, incl puddings and cheeseboard. Flat white was more like a cappuccino, which was a shame, but apart from that it was great, and we’ll be back. Thank you.

Well went in unaware I had to take a mask with me (2nd day of the rule). I was met by Claire abruptly and very rudely. She shouted in front of everyone in the pub that she wouldn't let me in. Mind you I was...unaware of the rule. I then asked why and she repeated loudly that she wouldn't let me in because I had to wear a mask. I was so embarrassed by having everyone looking at me. She could have been more polite and calmly as well discreetly asked me to wear a mask. Although she offered to get me one...I refused and decided to leave as I was too embarrassed by her behaviour and everyone was looking at me (full front restaurant) . I have been visiting this pub for 5 years and I wouldn't have a problem adhering to the rules, but her costumer service approach was just wrong. Just to say I will not be coming back to this pub. Many thanks Raisa D'wanMore

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you felt that your welcome was abrupt on your last visit, I can assure you that that was not my intention in any way at all. The current government legislation regarding hospitality venues states that...More

Myself and friend had a lovely Sunday roast here! The staff was very friendly on entering the pub. They was quick and efficient to get some drink orders. The roast dinner comes served with roasted veggies and a big Yorkshire pudding. I think there could...be more roast potatoes as there is only 3 very small ones on the plate. I did have to ask for more gravy too but the waitress was super fast in getting it for me. Will be returning for another!!More

We dined on the final day of EO2HO and found the place as good as ever. Very clean, it always has been, but you could notice the extra steps taken by staff due to COVID. Our waiter, Giuseppe, was funny, welcoming and knowledgeable whilst being...attentive and not intrusive. Fantastic service! All the staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. Food is always good and we love that the menu changes seasonally - a small menu to allow perfect execution every time from the chefs, but still something for everyone. Great wine (Picpoul de Pinet and Montepulciano) and lovely atmosphere, as always. Toilets clean, chefs looking clean and tidy when walking through the floor, staff all well presented and look like they enjoy their jobs. Thank you again :) from 2 restaurant managers and a head chef!More

I’ve come to the Lord Northbrook in lee many a times and just have to say how wonderful my experiences have been each time I’ve visited. I’ve tried many dishes (vegan burger, chicken burger, haddock sandwich, salmon etc.) you name it and have been pleased...every time with how well and tasty the food has been made. Hats off to the chef and lovely wait staff!! I will definitely be back for more as this wonderful pub have done amazingly even in these trying times during covid.More

First visit post lockdown for a couple of drinks. Lots of measures put in place to allow for social distancing to include table service- all felt very safe. All staff were really friendly in particular Keira who waited on our table. Would recommend

I have eaten at the LN a few times over the past couple of years, and there are many things I like about it: it's spacious, it has a lovely garden, the staff is terrific but... the on last couple of visits I thought the...food was... well, disappointing. And you can have the best service and location in the world, but if the food is not good, then it's a bit pointless. I tend to order the burger (which was one of their nicest dishes) and on both visits this month, the bread was dry and crunchy, veering on inedible. On my last visit, with a bunch of friends, I tapped on the burger bun and it felt and sounded like a turtle shell. It was so hard that I had to send it back and ask for a softer bun. The waitress explained the burger had been sitting under the heater, and that explains my friends' dry salmon, and our rock hard chips - they'd dried out. Now, mistakes do happen, especially in these covid times, but when the same problem happens twice in a row, over a period of 3 weeks, then I think there is a problem with the kitchen and I don't feel like spoiling a third meal in a row.More
