We have been living in the area for four years and loved this pub when it was under different hands. With few decent eateries around, we often went for the Roast at the weekend and other great dishes during the week. Sadly, when it changed...More

I used to go to this pub a lot, their food was really excellent, when it changed to the brewery owning the food didn’t meet the original high standards. I only ate a few times and wasn’t that impressed. Saying that it’s been a while...More

The food was tasty, and the portions were generous, what marred it for us was the noise, it was like trying to eat in a disco. The staff very very pleasant, but it seem to be policy at the weekend that the noise levels are...More

Still a great gastro pub- so lucky to have it as our local. Outclasses many others in the area. Good food, attentive and accommodating service. Quiz nights, music. Can’t ask for anything more.

This used to be a good pub (well, since the original refurbishment) but it has all but been taken over by wretchedly behaved children and their insouciant parents. Rather worryingly,it sometimes seems that no one is in charge. Ok on Friday nights, otherwise best avoided.More

Rather disappointed at our last visit. Portions were too small for the prices; the grilled vegetables salad contained literally two pieces of courgettes and that was all of the vegetables. We ordered a cheeseburger, got it without cheese, the side of chips with the burger...More
