I have always enjoyed this pub, the service and the atmosphere, but unfortunately not on this occasion. We booked a 2 hr slot online, 5-7pm, we were greeted on arrival after a short wait and shown to a seat. There was no explanation given of...how they were now operating with an app. Last time here it was table service. We asked a member of staff for assistance with the app, they said they didn’t know how it worked! The app is annoying as you have to enter card details every time. Also it asks every time if you would like to make a tip, before you know what service will be like! Service was quite slow every time given how quiet they were and the3rd round we purchased took 6/ 7 minutes to arrive when staff were doing nothing for the first5 minutes but chatting to each other. Drinks were served to our table and a large v a t (£11.35) had to be sent back and I assume poured away as the whole bottle of tonic had been poured into the vodka by the staff. I accept these are difficult times but some of the staff don’t help themselves or the reputation of the pub. Drinks are not cheap, in fact quite expensive, £38 for 5, and better service is expected. Will not be rushing back at all. Please ensure your staff are properly trained and supervised. You have some great people there like Esther but many of the staff appear lazy, new and inexperienced. Service very poor given the many staff working and few customers in at around 6pm on a Saturday.More

I used to love this pub but my last visit was so disappointing. I ordered a burger, it was too solid and mainly tasteless. The triple cooked chips tasted as if they had been cooked three days ago. Rubbery and overcooked. I asked for skinny...fries as they used to make them and they are at least hot but they have stopped serving them. There was a large selection of plant based meals but they were uninspiring. Waited 15 minutes in a cubby hole before my order was taken .. I had to go up to a member of staff twice before they came to us. I might as well as had a takeaway in my car as the whole experience had no sense of atmosphere.More

Food was nice enough, good vegetarian options. Decor is nice. This could be a great Ealing pub to go to with friends, BUT the service ....... They need a grown up to teach the basics of waiting to what looked like a bunch of students...doing a Saturday job, there was someone who looked like a senior member of staff, but the one time they served us we were treated like an inconvenience. Shame really, because this could be great. The location and food is ok, but when I’m paying for food and I’m not allowed to walk up to the bar to serve myself - I actually expect to be served by cheerful staff, rather than people who don’t know what’s on offer and aren't very cheerful.More

Upon arrival they took ages to take our order then eventually we did and were told that they need to check if they have enough. Eventually he came back and said there was “loads” then came back after 10mins only to tell us we have...to change our order because they didn’t have any of what we wanted. We also had problems with the dinks order twice this very same night but I won’t go into detail as the damage has already been done. Also just felt like they were super rude, unaccommodating unapologetic. No recognition for the pre stated spacial occasion. No ownership of their failures and all executed with a bog standard service. They do however have a nice beer garden.More

We used to go there on regular basis before the virus and it was always good. Now not so good. You're not allowed to order at the bar, which is understandable, but unfortunately no one comes to check if you need more drinks or anything...else. The service was awfully slow whether it was food, drinks or the bill. The menu has changed again (not sure when) and honestly it's not that appealing during the week, but that's just me. There is plenty vegetarian options if you're into that. The good thing was there were hand sanitizers at every door.More

Great lunch. Seemed to have an efficient Covid policy for arriving guests. Joined our friends in the garden in one of the many covered areas. Fairly straightforward ordering service at the outside bar. Good menu with lots of options for vegetarians. Children seemed happy with...their choices. Would returnMore

Booked as a group for birthday celebrations. Spacious covered gardens ideal with risk of rain. Sunday roast with aged beef add many unchewable parts and had to request horseradish sauce. Dessert served with chocolate sauce over edge of plate and all over handle of spoon....Despite Registering on website as Friends of Fullers a day earlier and selecting pub for the 10 % voucher, website has still not sent. Mentioned at bar, since I knew at manager's discretion, but disappointing did not volunteer to apply. Even more disappointing that it also meant website registration with day of meal as birthday of one in party was also therefore not picked up either !More

Food was delicious: good selection of vegetables for Sunday Roast and tender lamb, sauce was very rich and had amazing flavour. I liked how it was served, there is also wide variety of beers. Place is beautiful, clean with spacious garden. Customer service was exceptional...and attentive, because of assistant manager Sebastian I felt taken care of. I will be back to try other food. Truly recommended!!!More

We came to celebrate my sister's birthday today for lunch, the group consisted of 6 adults and 4 children (grandmother and great aunt). The manager claims that our children were running around which was completely false. Children from other tables were seen running around and...entering into the playground that was cordoned off - however it was our children that were told off by the manager despite our children playing at our table. The manager was extremely aggressive and rude - we were shocked by his aggressive nature. We quickly finished our drinks and left. We will definitely not return again. This is 2020 - please start treating people of colour the same way as everyone else. I am sure the manager (Dell) will provide another story but I have never written a review about a pub before but because his behaviour was so appalling towards us (without any just reason to be) I feel it is appropriate to let others know.More

I really like this pub, great London Pride and red wine, but, I notice they now do Neck Oil here. Really fancied a pint but at £6.35 a pint is outrageous. At Spurs it is £5 a pint, why, why why do expensive? Not convinced...it will be available for long at this price. Genuine feedback from an honest regular customer. Lovely staff as always. Especially Ester, always happy and smiling.More

Hi Rob, Thanks for the 4 stars and for your kind words about Ester and the team. I really appreciate the feed back and understand the frustration on the price disparity and I would be happy to discuss our prices over a pint at the...More
