The food was good. We had plenty of selection and it was nice and cool. Clean bathrooms as well. Recommend for cafeteria style food for lunch

I almost hate to review it because it was blessedly uncrowded when we were there. We ate dinner before a concert upstairs and discovered excellent vegetarian options and a good wine selection.

When I visited London, I wanted to stop here and try this place as it sounded both interesting and unique. Despite its name, there was absolutely nothing morbid or creepy about it. I tried a soup that had vegetables in it, as well as a...More

Needed a cup of tea and a refresh before an evening meeting. The cafe in the crypt is the perfect location. Just yards from the bustle of Trafalgar Square, yet a quiet venue with profits used to help a worthy cause. The fact that the...More

We visited the cafe in the crypt for breakfast as we thought it would be an interesting place to eat. The cafe itself is nice but the service was poor. We opted for breakfast sandwiches which were slapped on a plate by a waitress who...More

Very very very glad there was a cafe there so I could grab a cup of coffee but I agree with another reviewer who said that people do not realise they are walking over gravestones.

Interesting cafe location. The building is worth a visit even without the cafe. I almost wonder though if there should be a cafe here people walk all over the grave stones without realizing even where they walk

We had a very good meal here for lunch before going to Her Majesty's Theatre for a matinee. Their menu is extensive. It's a cafeteria style, so you can choose from a good variety of cold or hot dishes, all well prepared, as well as...More

If you have never eaten lunch in a church crypt before - do so here. It is quite spacious, well priced, many choices and the food we had was tasty. Hot veggie soup and a sandwich and hot pudding (which seemed to be Apple Crisp...More

I have never been to the Church of St.Martin-in-the-Fields, so I went there and decided to have light dinner in the Cafe in the Crypt. Big mistake: my ricotta and broccoli quiche with beetroot salad were just terrible. The tables were dirty and whole place...More

The Cafe in the Crypt definitely has a choice of a vegetarian hot main dish every day, same goes for the Christmas dinner. Gluten-free is a bit trickier, as some days there is a GF option, and some days there isn't. It's... More
