Yes the plates are chipped and probably unintentionally, yes our waitress spilled water and didn't fix it, yes there were a stunning amount of crumbs in the cracks of our industrial table, but these are such small things when the service was so friendly and non contrived. The food was excellent, we had a bargainous set lunch of three courses... More

This has been on my "bucket list" for some time. I had a business lunch with a long time friend at this place. It was a hot day and I arrived early so went to downstairs to Oskar's Bar for a swift drink. The great chef was in the corner but busy so I didn't disturb him. The decor is... More

From the moment we were welcomed and shown to the table the service was excellent. The waiters were attentive but not overly so and also knowledge ; their wine recommendation was very good. The food is well presented and tasty; good choice of fish and meat dishes. Overall a very pleasant couple of hours.

Really appreciate this spot's capacity to give a great service, in terms of quality of dishes and courtesy, without being snobbish, Hard to find such a thing in London.

I have been before and loved this place but this visit was hurried, expensive and not fun. We were sped through was was meant to be a slow lunch. We sent our dessert back because we needed 2 minutes to breathe. The pea and mint dish is still wonderful. We paid 27 pound for 2 grilled langoustine that came with... More

You are assured of a wonderful meal, created with such special thought and touches by an amazing chef! The flavors chosen for each and every composition are beautifully presented and combined to allow the guest an explosion of tastes in every bite! The set menu was phenomenal. The staff, including the owner, the sommelier and the front of house are... More

I had wanted to try Dabbous for a while but never got around to it until yesterday. We were six people and went for the tasting menu. All in all, the food was great. Naturally, people's tastes differ. Four of us thought the food to be exceptional, and the other two felt it was average. Serving staff were superb. I... More

Relaxed, calm environment for great food. Simple ingredients cooked to perfection with imagination but no desire to over gild the lily with unnecessary presentation. Lemon tart dessert with marigold petals and blueberries was divine in particular.

What a disappointment for the price we paid... We took the tasting menu. Except the starter (mint & pea) which looked promising, the rest was bland and really average for both textures and taste. On the positive side, the wine list is fair priced. Being used to go to Starred restaurants, I cannot understand how this one got one.

Nice bar and restaurant. Good English food in a modern way. Staff very nice. Two set menus available. There should be more options and wine list a bit expensive.
