Visited here for a date night treat and we were not disappointed. When going to such similar establishments, I'm not a huge fan of a la carte menu's as I hate making decisions. So I loved the fact their are only two options 4x course dinner menu or 7/8 course degustation style tasting menu We decided on the 4 course... More

The food was brilliant only let down by the front of house and the service- why do restaurants think they can get away with rotten service!! The waiters were not managed properly - we purchased a very expensive wine which was dumped on our table and we poured it ourselves all evening - not a problem but not what I... More

Let me say from the outset that the food is interesting, original and of high quality. But for me at least the experience does not work: high end food, high prices in a canteen almost Soviet style Fritz Lang setting. For the fashionable this might be desirable. At these prices I want something more. I left the restaurant indifferent as... More

This is a Michelin-starred restaurant serving (we were told) seasonal food. We chose a fixed 3 course lunch menu which was very good - as you might expect - if limited, but it was lunchtime. Industrial-style decour, but pleasant and informative staff.

We ordered the £60 a head dinner menu. It was terrible. The first course was cold fennel salad, in a clammy sauce. The second course was lukewarm mackerel on mayonnaise rice. The third course was venison with slimy white foam sauce, which was squirted onto the food by the waiter. The fourth course was a quarter of a waffle. I... More

We received a warm welcome and the staff were friendly throughout. A splendid little cocktail bar downstairs is a must. We had a four course set menu, which consisted of a refreshing scallop starter, followed by a smoked vegetable dish that was very different, absolutely spot on venison and then probably the smallest cheese board I have ever seen. It... More

We had a family lunch here and chose to have the lunch menu. To start with the positive, food was very good. Not fantastic/blown away but definitely up there. So complements to the chef. Worth a visit for this. Let down by 2 points Service. Truly terrible. Very casual, not attentive at all, constantly having to catch their eye to... More

went there on a Sat lunch, had a first rate experience from start to finish. Attention to detail in every dish, fantastic wine selection and given the quality of it all, very reasonable prices.

On arrival we were welcomed warmly by the staff. Shown to our table. It was busy, but not overly so. Started with cocktails 'Pass The Dutch' and 'The Drink With No Name', which were unusual and delicious. Starters of scallops served frozen and fennel salad, served with rose petals, both equally unusual and delicious. Mains of venison and mackerel, were... More

This chef has a unique slant on tastes and presentation. We all enjoyed yet another different dinning experience,so many places to try in London. As xmas time there was a disco downstairs which proved to be very noisy so hence spoilt it a little for us..Could hardly hear the staff explanations of dishes served. We had the tasting menu so small plates... More
