Bar manager very rude and aggressive great shame as it's a great pub but run badly. Service poor and disorganised.

I visited the Swan with my brother for a quick catch up. Decided to eat and we both had Burgers (delicious). The atmosphere was really relaxed, the staff were very friendly and helpful - it was so comfortable we ended up staying a couple of hours! Great pub, good food, nice decor and friendly welcome - I really recommend a... More

Never again, and I can understand why we were able to get a table here rather than anywhere else, its reputation obviously precedes it. The waitresses were rude and could not tell us what wine was available when we asked - why... More

Lots of big screens showing various sports. Good food & yummy desserts. Nice specials menu! I had the chicken platter and it was delicious, could have had a few more chips but that's me being greedy!

On first impression the pub was really nicely decorated, clean floors, loads of tables with area for the bar drinkers and area for diners. We had 4 different meals that arrived together. My steak and Ale pie was delicious... More

With great gastro pubs in the area The Swan has to really up their game. Food cold and very poor quality (processed school dinner), service slow and tried to compensate with uncomfortable friendliness, verging on flirting.

The pub has been refurbished quite nicely as it was long overdue . The menu has been extended since the first few weeks of reopening and it is really nice food . We went with family and friends and our dog too- very nice relaxed atmosphere and stuff quite friendly . Lots of space both inside and outside , which... More
