I went to the Antelope for lunch last year to celebrate Founder's day with my father (a Chelsea Pensioner) and a group of his friends. As the service and food had been so good, my Dad booked again for the same occasion. I cannot believe the difference between the 2 experiences and would be too long if I were to... More

Sadly I didn't get to eat there but had a few pints (Fullers) and really enjoyed the dark wood, traditional pumps and real beer! Good place for a pint and a chat! Only downside is that the didn't server Porter. Ah well!

We booked here after looking at other TripAdvisor reviews prior to going to the Chelsea Flower Show. We ate in the room upstairs; it was busy but not crowded and staff were attentive and really friendly. The menu could have had a few extra dishes on it but it was a good selection and the food was very good; we... More

A rarity for central London. Restrained, decent value and not overcrowded. What wasn't there to like? I met up with a business partner for a relaxed lunch over a decent beer, a lovely burger and without breaking the bank. For this sort of address that has to be a record and I walked out very happy with life in general.

Great historic pub built on former marshes (known as Five Fields) and later built on by Thomas Cubitt in 1827 from land owned by the Duke of Westminster. A pretty interior, etched glass, floorboards etc. Only one member of staff when I visited ( Sat) who gave no acknowledgement when waiting at the bar, and spent five minutes taking some... More

We originally went to The Antelope for a Fullers ESB and fish and chips but the kitchen was closed (chef emergency). The very helpful and friendly bartenders recommended another close by Fullers Pub. June looked up the menu and gave us detailed directions and showed genuine concern. Each trip to London we reserve one night at The Antelope for our... More

My friends and I used to drink here from time to time in the 70s. It had a good atmosphere and colourful clientele, including Diana Dors and her husband, Alan Lake.

Visiting London on holiday and ended up in Tooting! My friend and I walked to the Antelope as it was within walking distant from the underground. We ordered ciders, a starter and main course and loved all three! The service staff was rather friendly and genuinely cared about their customers. We visited the pub the following day as we loved... We went here with friends to enjoy a good Sunday roast. We had the choice of three different meats (beef, lamb and some poultry, I fail to remember). They served a good sized portion with Yorkshire Pudding, veggies and potatoes. Very recommendable!

Really enjoyable visit. Went on Friday before Christmas so pub was very busy. Staff excellent - even though they were rushed off their feet they remained friendly and efficient. We only had sandwiches but everything was very well presented and good quality ingredients. Although this place is close to kings road it still has the feel of a real local... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
