Nowadays, that there are more gastropubs (a term indicating a pub that actually pays attention to the food it serves and usually also delivers at least on the edibility part if not on the implied gastronomical experience), it is less of a destination than just...More

Walking the dog a couple of weeks ago, I passed the Builders Arms. It was busy and inviting. Nestled in a side street off the Kings Road and Sydney Street, it's a beautiful little pub, with a nice atmosphere. A bit of a creature of...More

Excellent Gastro Pub, with a pleasant ambiance, and outdoor seating. Ideally situated, if in South Kensington. A good selection of beers, Aspalls cider on draft, and an excellent lunch time menu. The Staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

Sadly I think this wee pub needs a reigniting of life; it's in a perfect location but suffers many small issues that can be fixed (see previous reviews). Even the pint glasses didn't look 100% clean alas

We were a group of about 10 but four arrived 90 minutes late because they were caught up at work. The service was a bit slow hence the 4 but the food was excellent. I started with ducks hearts on toast followed by the hake....More

We have enjoyed our past visits to the Builder's Arms on our annual trips to London. As a cheerful, upscale, independent neighborhood pub it was a welcome addition. Then it joined Geronimo and became less reliable. Our recent visit was disappointing. The atmosphere and service...More

Invited some friends over for dinner and we had a super time at this Geronimo Inn. The service is spot on, the ambience just perfect - feels like you are in someone's home. The menu constantly changes and there are specials every day. I had...More

4 of us ordered the beef with yorkshire pudding. Disappointing. Roast potatoes were hard. Yorkshire was burnt and dry. The meat and gravy were good but I've had much better. Our server was hit and miss. Pleasant personality but very slow and forgetful. We won't...More

On first impressions this is a very cosy pub, but quite noisy on a Saturday night. There was a lot of confusion between the staff and manger about where we should sit. We got moved from the original table we were sat on when a...More

Description
Voted Morning Advertiser Pub Industry's Awards - 12th best Pub in the UK 2004, you won't need a pub guide to tell you this is one of the best pubs in Chelsea - Just ask the locals! Unwind after work or after a busy day of shopping in Kings Road with some of the finest food you could find in a London pub, or just a glass of beer or champagne on the sofa to recharge your batteries. The Builders Arms can be found full of local residents most nights of the week, arriving early for a gossip before they sit down to eat. The pub was recently redecorated and it now has a livelier, more stylish decor with banquettes, unusual artwork and the most colourful bookcases.
