A firm favourite for anything from a light lunch to a celebratory dinner, the Delauney delivers every time and for every occasion. Latest visit was with several friends for a Sunday evening bite, without a booking, with some folks wanting to eat, others just to drink, several fussing over prices (unnecessarily, everything is perfectly reasonable) and generally us being a... Pre theatre dinner and birthday treat, food was amazing, service excellent and fab wine menu (Pink Sancerre) one of my favourite's. Classy without being too expensive.

My friend wanted me to come here with her when we visited London one weekend as it is literally her favourite place to have breakfast in London – I wasn’t convinced, but am open to trying new places to eat, and I was pleasantly surprised! The Delaunay itself is lovely – you walk into a big open room and the... More

This felt like a real treat, and although more expensive then your usual high street chain it is definitely not over priced. The service was impeccable, the food delicious and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble, a totally relaxed environment and a peaceful start to a Sunday morning.

I met my daughter for lunch and once again had a most enjoyable meal .The brunch menu is extensive and caters for a quick meal or a more leisurely one . We shared a lobster cocktail to start which I followed with grilled calves liver cooked perfectly ..My daughter chose the delicious looking (and tasting ) scallops and prawns .

Recreating the style, the service and the décor of the grand cafes of Europe, the Delaunay is a good place for a business meeting of a special lunch or dinner. WIth a European feel, the menu ranges from British to German and Austrian, and the food is beautifully presented and delicious. Tables are well spaced; with the best ones being... More

Went after the theatre to have a coffee and cake. Sat outside and watched the hustle and bustle of London. Lovely coffee and delightful pastries to finish off my day out in London. You can sit inside too and it all looked very elegant. Not cheap but who cares. It was a one-off and I thoroughly enjoyed the ambience.

Recommended by a friend, we stopped for dinner on our way to the theatre. What a great call! The service was top drawer, warm, prompt and professional. A couple of us chose the borsch as an appetizer, wow! Pureed with a dollop of horseradish infused sour cream, delicious. I went for the Holstein schnitzel with a fried egg and slivers... More
