Lovely restaurant, food is very good, portion sizes are large though so be careful when you order. Great decor, you will not be disappointed.

A cosmopolitan hub for pre and post theater dining. The food selection is quite wide, excellently prepared, presented and moderately priced for its category. While you can be in and out in an hour, the food prep and service are so well rehearsed that there is no sense of pressure or feeling that a fine meal was not given its... More

Whether you are taking a light lunch or a beautifully cooked and served dinner you will not be disappointed by the Delaunay. Centrally situated, chic and smart, the prices are reasonable and the food excellent. Friendly and efficient service. What more can I say? Go and find out for yourself.

We visited on Saturday evening with some friends who were visiting London. We chose this place as on previous visits we have had nothing but positive things to say. On this occasion we were a bit disappointed though admittedly all of the points below are minor in isolation. Across the whole evening it got a little frustrating. They had run... More

Yep! Once is DEFINITELY not enough! We chose (and booked, fortunately!) The Delaunay a LITTLE bit at random as we wanted somewhere with old style elegance but buzzy....as an apres theatre meal...5pm...we had seen STOMP at 3pm (GREAT FUN!). Most around us were enjoying what looked like simply delicious tea, cakes etc....but we were after a meal....and what a delight... More

Went for the Champagne afternoon tea for two. The food and drink were totally out of this world and the service was impeccable. Nothing was too much for the staff, they catered for our every need. The atmosphere was buzzing but not intimidating. This is one of the best afternoon teas ever. The mini kuglehopfs were divine Afterwards we headed... More

I went here for afternoon tea with 3 friends and was super pleased with it. Excellent veggie sandwiches alongside scones and cakes. Great variety. Nice atmosphere and for £20 per person is great value for central London. Highly recommend!

We booked a table for 5.30. Glad we did as it was very busy. We were going to see a concert and being late eaters we chose an late afternoon tea. Now I'm the awkward one. I can't eat cheese. So what they did they gave us 2 cake stands. What always surprises me about afternoon tea is just how... More

I've been to the Delaunay a couple of times for dinner but recently went for brunch for the first time. It is the same owners as the Wolseley and has the same almost magical European dining room feel. Again like the wolseley the service is always outstanding and friendly. They do an excellent coffee - 7 out of 10 for... More
