Had an early evening meal with friends, prior to theatre visit. Beautiful restaurant, immaculate service. A bit pricey by our standards but a favourite of our London friends who suggested it. Would recommend for a special occasion.

This Bavarian style brasserie is right next to the Aldwich Theatre and an excellent location for a pre-show bite to eat. I'm sure it's also excellent for a full meal, however my wife and I both just had schnitzel which is a house specialty. It was served in a friendly and prompt manner and tasted delicious. We will be back... More

We had a quite superb evening with a party of eight at a round table in the corner of this wonderful restaurant which has a great atmosphere and superlative service. We were made to feel very special. We had ordered Bollinger to begin and chilled champagne glasses were immediately brought to the table. A magnum of Pouilly Fuisse followed but... More

The Delaunay was a perfect way to start a night out at the Theatre. The elegant decor and super efficient staff set the scene for an excellent pre theatre supper. The borscht soup with creamed horse radish was a delicious starter. The veal shnitzel was great --loved the muslin covered lemon. Desert--blackberry and apple strudel--tart offset with sweetness-a perfect balance!... More

The atmosphere is the best of any restaurant we know. It has a real buzz to it. However most importantly the food especially the schnitzel is top class. The service is very good and nothing can be faulted. Would definitely recommend.

It was lovely to spend my Saturday evening at The Delaunay. Menu is European ,perhaps with a predominance of Austrian/German influence. Staff are ever so helpful and genuinely nice; they bring you some complimentary fragrant mini baguettes with butter whilst you are choosing your courses. The setting is elegant, calm and stylish and it is perfect if you want to... More

Good after dinner venue. Panelled large interior space – club style. Tables well spaced. Good Viennese styled menu – seafood, sausage, schnitzel, cooked meats, fish and bird. Also hamburgers if you must. Good wine selection especially by the glass and 50cl carafe. Service: friendly and excellent.

I had seen this place several times and finally made the decision to go. I was amazed by the decor and the staff was very friendly. I was worried because I look about 19 and I was going alone that they might treat me in a friendly manner. The waiter was friendly and had just the right amount of interaction.... More

I was invited to this restaurant by colleagues. When receiving the menu it seems a bit odd, since half of the menu is in German, and they actually serve a couple of typical german dishes (like schnitzel), which the name of the restaurant would not suggestie. And you can receive a vegetarian menu on request! In the end I opted... More
