Very good coffee here. As a Melbourne resident I am quite fussy. Only cows' milk and limited options for other food but people queue to get their coffee here. Some nice pastries and baguettes with butter and jam. All pretty simple but done with quality.

Had to queue for awhile as it was a Saturday but was so worth it. Coffee done properly - great place to sit down &a good selection of cakes too.

So I try different coffee at different places when i visit. Let it be Rome, London or somewhere else. For me nothing beats monmouth. This is my baseline I compare each new coffee i try against. I tried in borough and in covent garden. I...More

I loved the layout in this place. Convenient, quality, classic and cool, just like London itself. A good location for excellent coffee and pastries.

Tried the one at Covent Garden so I came here the next day. Both are good! Got one of their chocolate truffles as well. Highly recommended despite the queue.

This is the place to visit if you want a proper nice cup of coffee, queueing round the corner, staff really helpful, hustle and bustle and full

One of the top places for coffee in London, and where I get my beans from. I usually buy some beans to skip the queue, and get a cafe au lait while I wait.

Just bought this coffee that was almost half empty for £3.20. Plenty of better coffee options around.

Several people had recommended Monmouth and I'm glad we visited. We were lucky enough to get a seat and enjoyed two great coffees each. The whole time we were there the line poured out onto the street. There were a few pastries a available and...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest

They don't. Seating is also communal so usually you share a table with others. Also, its a few steps up to the tables and not much space so a buggy may not make it there either. There's a wide stool outside which is what I... More
