Didn't have a meal here, but just an extended apéritif that ended up costing as much as a meal should cost. Nothing special, just hype, and not much in the plates. Would definitely NOT go back...

I visited here yesterday evening alone, as staying in London on business. It was a very warm evening and very busy. I hadn't booked but the waitress found me a seat at the bar and told me I could order to eat there. I found the staff excellent, there were three of them and they ran round all evening. I... More

My wife found this Bistro and Bar online and we booked a table for a pre-theatre supper. It was such a great choice! A genuinely friendly welcome, excellent wine list, comprehensive menu competitively priced for the West End... we couldn't fault anything. We WILL be back!!

What a hoot - the staff tried to shut the place yet it was still full of customers. Wine was good but wow haven't seen that sort of rudeness to customers for years and years. And it wasn't just one of them - they were all at it.

Having read a couple of disappointing reviews on here this week, I thought it was right to leave a more rounded review of this lovely little wine bar at the quiet end of covent garden. We visited here a week ago, for what was our second visit together, after spending a couple of hours relaxing in the sunshine. The setup... More

This restaurant is part wine bar part restaurant. Wine is served by the millilitre, which means that there is no disincentive to buying by the glass - the cost is the same. It also means that you can try several wines, which is the whole point. This is a great advantage in my view. The service is first class. The... More

Was recommended to visit this restaurant, and started well with nice French Vouvray. Then all went downhill:-( limited menu selections followed with rushed serving which make it unpleasant and unwelcoming. Will never return or recommend to my friends and colleagues.

Not Great..Wont be rushing back! Very limited menu and large glasses of wine costs involve you taking out a 2nd mortgage!! Squid was like Rubber and you needed a microscope to eat it!! Staff friendly but not overly attentive. Had a table for two outside to eat where we were verbally abused by a Big Issue seller and Local drunk!!

Sat down for glass of wine outside the restaurant. Asked for some salty nibbles with the wine. Glass came with very small receptacle containing a handful of almonds - of course it was so small I assumed these were free. When I asked for the bill, it came to a whopping £9 - they charged me £4 for the nuts!... More

We came for a pre-theatre dinner on a warm summer evening. It is a small bistro type restaurant and it was already packed, with people simply drinking at the bar or eating, whether inside or at tables on the pavement. We were immediately struck by the cheerful buzzy atmosphere and the warm welcome. The food was excellent. After appealing starters... More
