Fabulous wine bar with very special wines. Staff are extremely knowledgable and can recommend wines to your taste, so you can try something different but feel confident that it's going to be great. Amazing food as well - and the menu changes as the "10 cases" of wine get replaced, to ensure that the food complements the wine choices, rather... More

We met four friends here and had a great time. Lovely warm evening so everything open at the front. Service was prompt and as you would expect a great wine list with loads of wine by the glass. We had about three bottles , an Oregon Pinot Noir and an Australian Pinot Grigio. Both excellent. Food is three choices on... More

The restaurant is very small here, so you expect to be crammed in to a small place. This adds to the atmosphere but some tables can be uncomfortable, especially if you are sat at the bar. But the lamb is a great sharing dish to have, with wonderful sides included. There is also a brilliant wine list to accompany this,... More

Enjoyed a Saturday evening here recently. This place is very popular and all tables were booked but we managed to find a couple of bar stools which is often more fun anyway. Had a great bottle of Argentinian red wine, a plate of iberico jamon and some soft cheese to mop up the alcohol. Then another bottle. Didn't fall off... More

Despite a very limited choice of food, 3 starters, mains and desserts, they were nearly of of excellent quality. The iberico pork with romesco sauce was a highlight, with the octopus carpaccio coming a close second. The main courses were also very well cooked, with a delicious plaice with mushrooms and salad. The beef rib had deep flavours but was... More

There must be something about this place that I don't see as its obviously very busy and popular. But for me it's an overpriced wine bar that does overpriced food with service that is just ok. My friends like it but I won't be rushing back.

Very friendly and helpful service on a busy Saturday evening. We got a table for two without having booked and were served fairly promptly. The wine choice was good, by the glass and the bottle. We had the house red which was great. We shared two platters (the cheese and the charcuterie) and two other starter dishes of padrón peppers... More

I'm a little wine-oriented when it comes to dining, so I love the model (only ten cases of any one wine ordered in) and was not disappointed with any of the three wines I tried over the course of the meal. I'm even happier to see German and Austrian reds on the menu. I'm not so much a fan of... More

Fabulous fresh, home cooked food with an excellent wine list. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had the lovely beef rib, croquettes, cheese and meat plates. All highly recommended. Beware of a window table on a warm night as the staff don't police the outside table smoking and it's a bit off putting
