Good fish and good uramaki choice. Little restaurant, but with a good confort. My personal note: I don't like wasabi and they probably put it into the rice they use for sushi.

We've been to Kyoto a couple of times recently, once for lunch with a number of under 10s in tow and once for pre theatre dinner. In both cases we were very well looked after - the service was friendly and quick and tolerated noisy children! The food is quite mainstream Japanese - large menu covers everything from sushi and... Kyoto is a lovely spot, well-located for theatres and shopping. It does a great mix of Japanese and Korean food - big portions and very reasonably priced. I often have lunch here and their sashimi set is delicious and very inexpensive - 3 types of fish, rice and miso for about £12. In most Japanese restaurants in central London you're... More

Myself and my partner have been here a number of times over the past 2/3 years. We absolutely love this place. Food is of high quality. All of the sushi sets maki set A/B and the others are all good. Service is quick and sufficient and very helpful. Downside is the men's toilets is your anywhere around 6ft or more... More

This small restaurant has a great selection of dishes from both Japanese and Korean cuisine. Their sushi is delicious and the noodles very tasty. They have a good variety on their menu as well as a good selection of drinks. If you fancy Japanese/Korean food this is a good place to go.

I went to Kyoto Sushi with a friend on Friday night. The waitstaff was very friendly and welcoming when I first arrived. Our orders were taken promptly and then we waited, and waited for our mains to arrive. I think there might not have been enough sushi chefs to keep up with both in restaurant and take out demand. When... More

Went there for dinner on a Saturday night and there is no need to queue - perhaps that says something about the restaurant already...whilst the Philadelphia roll was quite good, the katsudon was the worst I've even tasted. The pork is blend, and have poor texture. I would not come back again.

Kyoto Sushi was a very origianl and interesting place with high quality sushi and a variety of other Japanese dishes that were as tasty. One order came very late. The service was good and individual. Wecan recommend the place although it’s tight and has not a lot of space.

Great little place, but make sure you dont over order the portions are big and you get many pieces with the combos, so one is more than enough. When we went we ordered 2 dishes eavh as we were hungry but had a hard time finishing. However it was very nice indeed. Expensive but worth it. 2 platters of sushi... More

We had a wonderful meal here on a friday evening. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food authentic and immensly satisfying and the atmosphere relaxed and rustic. We will be going back again very soon.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
