This is an incredible place to eat. The menu includes typical Indian dishes but they manage to pack so much freshness and taste into the food that it a whole new experience for your tastebuds. Even the milder dishes we chose were packed with so much flavour. I'm not a fan of jazz but this restaurant, which plays jazz as... More

It was seven o'clock on a Friday and there was nobody in so we were a bit apprehensive but the place filled up quickly. The service was good and the food was excellent. The chicken madras was hot in both senses of the word and the lamb rogan josh tasty and tender.Staff were friendly and the cost was reasonable.

A family friendly restaurant that is intimate and attentive. Some of the freshest dips I've had anywhere with the poppadoms, lovely mango lassie and the main of Lamb Bhindi was great. They accommodated my wife who asked for something not on the menu. This is a restaurant worth seeking out

Not often do I award 5 stars but The Sitara and Mr Raj and his team deserve every bit of it. We arrived without booking on a Tuesday evening and were shown to our seats. The jazz music playing in the back ground was spot on. Not to loud, just right. We ordered a couple of drinks which promptly arrived.... More

The best meal of our trip. The food was delicious and had good variety. The owner was incredibly kind as well as the staff. The owner was delighted to suggest all the dishes for our meal. The atmosphere fit the mood of the restaurant, the walls were painted a deep red and were populated with jazz paintings. I highly recommend... More

I was staying at the nearby Premier Inn and fancied a curry. I walked in here and, to be honest, nearly left again as the menu was like a lot of other restaurants' with all the usual suspects on it. However, I'm glad I didn't as the standard of the cooking and the service were not like a lot of... More

I have lived in London for almost 20 years and I absolutely love a good curry.. However I have experienced loads of disappointing average or sub average curry houses. After many years and having now moved out of London, I keep coming back to Sitara, just the best I have ever manage to find. The food is amazing, never ever... More

Was staying in the local area on business and walked past so thought we would give it a try. It was a Monday and they had live jazz music on so unfortunately they were full. But we went back the next night. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is fairly small, there were a few other tables occupied... More

A friend highly recommended this restaurant. I walked right past it twice as it looks like a jazz bar. Inside it's cool and Indian but jazz posters on the wall. I loved the ambiance. Charming staff. Ordered the house special chicken, but madras hot. The flavours were fresh and alive. Every mouthful intrigued my taste buds. So fresh, no long... More
