Ate here last Friday night with a friend-restaurant is very busy and there are no more than 12-15 stalls so be warned you should arrive early! We didn't get there until around 730pm but we knew we would be waiting and we had some wine standing up in the entrance while eyeing everyone's food! We waited around 25 mins then... More

My date and I shared six dishes. Each dish was devine. Our whole experience was pleasant. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back next time I'm in London. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for great Tapas!

Great tapas bar in SE1. Really high quality of food and service impeccable. The sort of place you could while away a couple of hour eating the most delicious Spanish tapas. Go and try it out you won't be disappointed

Its the kind of place you wish was on your doorstep. It has the feeling of an intimate, buzzy, neighbourhood bar but is located in a bustling part of London, but once inside you'd never know it. The food was delicious, everything from the sublime Iberico Pork Fillet to the absolute moreish Croquetas. Good wine list and an abundance of... More

My wife and I came here based on the raving TA reviews and were very disappointed. Besides screwing up the food which I'll get to in a second, the host snatched my chair while I was in the bathroom and didn't return it as promised. After a long day on my feet sightseeing, I had to stand even more as... More

Tucked away in a little corner, it's the ideal spot for a pop in lunch! A great atmosphere, very reasonably priced and hilarious service. Definitely worth a visit!

Took my mom for a Sunday lunch m, looked very busy but they managed to accommodate us on a standing barrel then on a corner bar the process was quick and not annoying at all. Dish came in a very good time fashion all of them were with fresh product and very tasty. Both manager and waiter were great with... More

Decided it was time to drink more Sherry. What a fantastic place. Tiny, packed tight and with friendly and knowledgable staff. Had a bit of a wait (well worth it) before slotting in to a place by the bar/counter but was able to enjoy a glass of wine and olives whilst soaking upthe atmosphere. Nice selection of wine and sherries... More

Friendly staff. Great unobtrusive background music. Beautifully presented food. Picture is Calamari on ink aioli. Highly recommend this small calm and casual bar.

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
