We were so tired after our flight back from Singapore and before an early night staying at the Premier Inn next door we chose this for its convenience but we were not disappointed. The staff were so friendly and attentive and we chose the roast beef dinner which was delicious and we really enjoyed. We had two beers IPA and the barman was very helpful in helping me choose one I might like. I was very surprised to read the bad reviews as we enjoyed ourselves

We visited this pub the night we arrived in London for vacation. It had a great look and vibe. We were initially confused about why the waitress was ignoring us until we realized all ordering occurs at the counter. Once we figured that out all was good. The drinks were as expected. Food was a little bland but perfectly fine as far as pub food goes. Lots of TVs, so I’d imagine it’s a lot of fun for football games!

We were stopping at the Premier Inn next door so, after a long day, it was convenient to pop into the Euston Flyer for dinner. It's a fairly typical Fuller's London pub so the beer is good, I had a couple of pints of Pride and my wife had a couple of glasses of very expensive NZ sauvignon blanc but she said it was worth it, possibly the best she's had in a while. While our meals were fairly typical 'pub grub' they were surprisingly good quality. Mine was sausage & mash with onion gravy and the three plump spicy sausages tasted great. At 18:30 in a large pub we were surprised how few tables were free, possibly because of its location between Euston & St. Pancras. Staff were helpful and service was quick. Nothing to complain about at all although it was a bit noisy (maybe due to the TV screens).

We normally call at o Neill next door but it was very busy.
This pub was almost empty and we now know why.
We ordered the food from the app, the options where EXTREMELY limited. Just after we ordered the server arrived to tell us that one of the items was unavailable as the the app needed updating.
There was nothing else suitable on the very basic menu so they went without.
When the food arrived it was poor, cold and unloved with stale bread.
We went to use the toilets before leaving and 2/3 of the ladies was out of action, the 3rd was blocked with pools of water on the floor.
We went to the bar to tell them, they said they would get someone to look. She looked and said yes it’s bad. We then asked for the disabled key, collected it from the bar. While at the bar you could see straight into the kitchen, OMG it was filthy. The chef was covered in dirty clothes.
By this time we needed the toilet desperately so went in the disabled. This had not been cleaned in a long time, no hand soap available.
This is an extremely poor pub, so cannot recommend

Euston Flyer
Hi 136dianet,
We are extremely sorry about your poor experiences here at The Euston Flyer.
Apologies for the limited selection for the food – over the Christmas period we were having supplier issues and due to us cooking food fresh, if we have been busier than expected during the week, some items will be unavailable due to high demand. The item being unavailable on the app is due to the Order and Pay system that we use is linked to our tills which takes up to half an hour to update.
We pride ourself on the quality of food, so to hear you experienced an unsatisfying meal is upsetting to hear and if there is anything we can do to rectify this in the future should you choose to return, please let us know.
The toilet situation is frustrating for both yourself and the team, as we were waiting for parts to fix the toilet for a while, but our contractors were extremely busy during the festive period so were unable to fix this as soon as we would like. Thank you for being proactive by reporting it to a member of staff who I hope fixed the situation as soon as possible! You’ll be happy to hear (as are we!) that all toilets are now fully functional and soaps are well stocked.
To hear that you saw a dirty kitchen when you were visiting us here at the pub is extremely worrying – our recent kitchen audit returned an almost perfect score so this is extremely out of character for the chefs. If you have any more information or details about this, please get in touch with us by emailing us as EustonFlyer@fullers.co.uk.
I hope we can persuade to give you another chance where I am sure that we will meet your expectations.
Kind regards,
Joshua Harris

Food was awful, we had 6 meals and not one person enjoyed their meal.
The nachoes were also forgotten, and we had to go back and ask for it, which was very disappointing.
When we asked for the service charge to be removed, we were challenged as to why this was as apparently the service change was separate to the kitchen!
Overall, very overpriced for the disappointing food and rude staff

Hi Katy,
I hope this message finds you well. I would like to personally address the concerns you raised in your recent review of our pub. I would like to begin by extending my sincerest apologies for the disappointing experience you and your party had during your visit.
We take great pride in providing our customers with a delightful dining experience, and it is disheartening to learn that we fell short of your expectations on this occasion. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are committed to learning from our mistakes and making the necessary improvements.
I apologize for the quality of the meals you received. It is truly unfortunate that none of the dishes met your satisfaction. Rest assured that I will be working closely with our kitchen staff to address the issues you've raised and ensure that our dishes consistently meet the high standards we strive for.
Regarding the oversight with the nachos and the confusion about the service charge, I can understand how frustrating these incidents must have been for you. I want to express my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused. We will be reinforcing our communication and service protocols to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
Concerning the service charge, it is intended to be a discretionary fee, and I am sorry if you felt challenged when requesting its removal. I will personally speak with my team to ensure that such situations are handled with more understanding and empathy in the future.
Once again, I apologize for the disappointment you experienced, and I sincerely hope that you will give us another chance to prove that we can deliver the quality of food and service we are known for.
Thank you for bringing these matters to my attention, and I look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back to The Euston Flyer.
Warm regards,
Adrian Hristache

Chose this pub for a drink as we had time to kill before our train back to Edinburgh. Nice atmosphere, and food being served looked good, so ended up staying for dinner too. I highly recommend the smoked haddock and leek fish cakes with poached egg and hollandaise

Just across the road from our hotel The St Pancras decided to give their "Sunday Roast" a try.
Pub not overly busy so service was quickand friendly and the roast portion was large and the gravy thick and tasty.Stayed for a few drinks after the meal, not a bad way to spend a few hours on a sunday afternoon.

Hi Lou,
Thanks for taking the time the leave us some feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you feel you received a bad reception, but this is more due to a difference in level of expectation of service.
We see ourselves more as a traditional pub as opposed to a restaurant and therefore we don't seat our customers and take orders at tables. Some of our customers only come in for a few drinks, some have something to eat, we leave the decision up to them. This is why people come up to the bar if they are ready to order food. This is what we explained when you were here.
I apologise for the confusion.
Thanks,
Jerry

We were there for a quick lunch, 3 rump steaks... It was beautiful, delicious and plenty. Our waitress Fruzsina was amazing, we loved how she approached us, recommended meals and handled our table with a big honest smile. Thank you again for the perfect afternoon, hope to see you again.

We were staying close by and during our stay we arrived at Kings Cross St Pancras tube station. We had passed this place a few times and decided to give it a go.
We ordered fish and chips, chicken and chorizo gnocchi and a kids fish and chips.
Staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and really bothered that we were ok. They took drinks order and then food order. Drinks came quickly and the food wasn’t too far behind.
All the food appeared to be cooked fresh and was delicious. Staff checked on us throughout to ensure all was good. This included who I assume was the manager - very friendly and again really wanted to ensure we were enjoying our visit, our food and drinks.
The atmosphere was great - an upmarket pub restaurant with a traditional feel. It provided a welcome coolness from the warm weather too!
Overall, the food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable and we really enjoyed dining here.
Thanks to the Euston Flyer. We will return.

The worst fish and chips ever. The chips are frozen fries so not chips and lukewarm as was the frozen fish served.
Absolutely appalling food.
To top it all went to use the toilet and had to report a dying mouse to staff who seemed non interested.
Never going again. The mouse was not the issue as the food was so bad.

We booked a table for ten people including two children and Kelly and the team could not have been more welcoming. They had reserved us a table on the raised platform, so it was almost like a private venue booking, and laid out not only crackers but elf hats for each us on a beautifully decorated table. Kelly was so friendly and happy to help, and great with the kids. It almost felt like celebrating Christmas together at home it was such a comfortable and cosy environment - would definitely recommend for group events! The pie was delicious too!

Been here before and never thought much of the place. Came with friends and have to say the place has improved considerably. Offered table service and was served by Sadie. Service was friendly and personable but laid back. Food was good, better than standard pub food and there was a great range of beers to choose from. Toilets were well stocked and the music was lively without being too loud.

Popped in here for a couple of drinks after we met up with family/checked into the Premier Inn next door.
The pub itself is decent enough - a good size bar with a selection of beers etc, plenty of seats, you can order table service on the app... but most importantly fantastic, friendly, fun staff.
The first night we went (4 adults/2 kids under 10) we were surprised when, having not checked the football fixtures, the place ended up rammed full of Leeds fans on route to their EFL cup fixture vs Arsenal. They sang the place down - some of the songs perhaps not being entirely appropriate for the ears of the kids but the staff were brilliant - checking on the kids etc.
We went back the next two days for drinks/food and will visit again if we are in town.

I really like the Euston Flyer, I used to live in Leicester and so this pub made a great last stop before heading home. It has remained consistent and so it proved again.
we were fortunate to get a table as a large party were expected, they arrived after we had ordered our food and drink, everything was spot on, and I am sure I will continue to pop in even though i now live on the Isle of Wight !!
Next pub - The Lexington, Pentonville Road.
