I met up with two friends I hadn't seen for a while to have a catch-up over lunch. I have enjoyed visits to several Cote Restaurants (including this one) They are usually busy & cram in as many tables as possible so perhaps a Wednesday which is matinee day at London theatres was not a good choice. The food was... More

We were walking around London, a bit jet-lagged after arriving earlier in the day, and decided that we'd look for a nice restaurant as we desired something more that traditional pub food. We noticed the posted menu in the doorway and decided to walk in and give this restaurant a try. We were very pleasantly surprised. As we were seated,... More

I ate here with my partner on Saturday 17th Sept. We arrived just after 7pm (missing out on happy hour which looked cracking value, at around £15 for 3 courses). Will def try for that next time When we arrived the place was alive (with all the happy hour deal customers no doubt) - place had a lovely buzz and... More

We enjoyed our breakfast here the first time, so we went back again. I ordered the same--french toast--each day and it was delicious. It came with a side of fresh fruit. My husband ordered a different meal on each of the days and was happy with both. He confused the server with his substitution requests but they got it right,... More

We had reservations but arrived late, because of delays on the tube and difficulty finding the restaurant. Nonetheless, we were seated. We ordered off of the pre-theatre menu. I got fish in a Mediterranean preparation and my husband the roasted chicken. The chicken was dry and my fish was bland, although the vegetables were ample and tasty. The pre-theatre menu... More

Hadn't booked but lucky enough to get a table before it got very busy. Great service, though they struggled to sort out the direction of the aircon unit that seemed to be blowing down on us. Food superb and with 3 courses at £13.95, a bargain. (Need to be seated before 19:00 I think for the set Menu.) Ok, the... More

Met here for brunch before flying abroad and immediately the staff were very helpful with storing my suitcases whilst we ate. The food was nice and reasonably priced, although my breakfast of a yoghurt and fruit was slightly small and disappointing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and were happy with us staying for hours - there was no... More

Arrived half an hour early for our Saturday booking at this busy restaurant ( dismally wet afternoon for sightseeing!) but were greeted warmly, found a table and served promptly by friendly staff. We ordered from the three course pre theatre menu and were more than happy with the choice available and the quality of the food. Always top of our... More

Just arrived from a 9 hour flight from Miami, staying next door at St. Martin's Lane Hotel, and our room n isn't ready for a while. So we wandered in, road weary and starving. What a treat was in store! A fantastic menu for a great price. ..three courses for £13. The mussels were excellent, my salad was sublime and... More

Nice meal here. They do pre theatre set menus if desired. We deviated between the 2 so not as cheap as it could have been. Little confused about staffing. A person dressed in black came to the table with a massive tray with the food but had to wait for another waiter/waitress to come over & place food down. I... More

Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities.
Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly
