Friendly staff and great prices. Excellent set menu lunch for less than £10 and good a la carte menu.

This is a classic, local Indian spot, with very welcoming owners. It's not surprising they have been there for 23 years and still draw crowds. The food really was quite excellent--the Chicken Jalfreizi was particularly good, with an unbelievably tasty tamarind sauce. A treat that I would be happy to go back to.

Really authentic and delicious Indian food . We had three different bowls , chicken tikka massala, cheese with spinach and minced beef with spices with rice and some naans, two drinks and paneer as a starter for under 50 £. The prices are for London standards absolutely reasonable . The place was crowed as we arrived which speaks for itself... More

Tiny, cramped and amazing! The food is incredible, best Indian I've had in a long time. Get the paneer tikka!

Very small and dark place. The tables are crowded together and very little place is left to move, sit comfortably or even order; the waiters are constantly slaloming at 2 mm from you while eating. The tables sizes are also very small. As a result this restaurant is a crowded place where the level of noise reaches ubelievable peaks. It... More

Very good, lively place, friendly service. Garlic naan, onion bhajhis, lamb biryani, and green chicken curry all hit the mark.

In upcoming happening, trendy Charlotte Street, it's a find for authentic Goan cuisine. Unpretentious decor, charming friendly service in a homely manner, you need to 'get' it to truly appreciate it. The food is very very good, ask for advise if you don't know, after all they do - they cook it and eat it too. A pat on my... More

Last night's power cut in the West End did us a favour! Being forced to look further afield for somewhere to eat we stumbled across the Palms of Goa. We were early so it wasn't too busy but by the time we had finished customers were queuing at the door so it might be advisable to book in advance! Both... More

I have been visiting Palms of Goa as frequently as possible for 5 years and I can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal. The food is amazing and reasonably priced, the staff are welcoming and the chops are unparalleled. Cannot recommend this place enough, if you are in the area you have to pop in.

Not always easy to find vegan selections in London but they are plentiful here. The other choices are also delicious

Description
Palms of Goa is a unique Indian restaurant, serving distinctly Goan cuisine. The history of this special branch of cooking reflects Goas Indian and Portuguese heritage - the main ingredients being coconut and spices, creating a flavoursome and distinctive taste. Located on Londons bustling New Cavendish Street, Palms of Goa is a popular place for business lunches and after-work meals. The rich red interior and delicious, healthy food make the experience of dining here a memorable one, and our favourite dishes include the Lamb Xacutti, a Goan dish prepared with coconut, vinegar and hot spices, and the restaurants renowned Pumkin (sic) Curry. Palms of Goa has been in business for over thirteen years, and is a favourite spot for Soho diners.
