I took a business colleague out for supper here having booked the table on OpenTable. The menu was genuinely seasonal, it had dishes like grouse and crab on it and used autumnal produce like Kentish cobnuts. We struggled to make up our minds from such a great choice of dishes. The only 2 caveats for me were the roast monkfish... More

Nice restaurant with a varied selection of mainly French food, partly titled in English, but not a very big menu. Very good quality, and not exceedingly expensive. A good choice.

Overall food was decent here. £46 for a 3 course dinner in Chelsea is not too bad. Not a huge menu (good thing), wide range of entrées, mains and desserts. Some more unique dishes available as well which is good. Would go back again.

We had the set lunch on a Saturday with adult son and girlfriend. There was a wide variety available on the menu and it was difficult to choose. I had calf brains which were delicate and creamy followed by grouse, which was pink and succulent. We all had different dishes and they were all superb. The wine list was long... More

Ok, here we go. This place is good. I took Wifey, following a clients recommendation, for a lunch date prior to a tour of The Chelsea Physic Garden. The restaurant is intimate, a bit like the Yin to Quaglino's Yang. We tried the set menu with a few amuse-bouche thrown in and gave the wine list a thorough going over.... More

My husband booked us an early supper here for my birthday - it was fantastic and we will certainly return. The menu was varied and the food was wonderful. The staff were attentive yet not over bearing and the ambience was perfect. We had the fig salad and the veal to start followed by the pigs cheek and the lemon... More

Definitely would come back and could not fault the service, the ambience or the imagination of the chef. Perhaps just a matter of taste but everything just a fraction undercooked. Grouse was certainly pink but not quite warm all the way through, financiers (with absolutely delicious lemon curd ice cream) just not quite cooked through. However the rating is five... More

We visited as a group as part of a Saturday evening birthday celebration. Originally booked at one of the three outside tables, the weather was such that Medlar quickly found us space inside; just as well we had booked for an early dinner as the restaurant was full by the time we left. The evening offer is three courses for... More

Booked for my birthday based on tripadvisor and professional critics reviews and our visit really surpassed expectations. Like their approach with a fixed price menu. For started , mains and deserts there were many options I was tempted by. Crab ravioli to start was really delicious, main of pork cheek was equally well balanced and executed. Desert was sublime, lemon... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
