Great service and fantastic food.

We had our company Christmas gathering. The staff were absolutely fantastic arranging an area for us for the evening. We enjoyed the variety of food catered for everyone which included vegans & vegetarians. A Big thanks to you all the staff at Amora Gusto !

Me and my friends decided randomly to go In this lovely tapas restaurant. We had calamari, ham and mushroom arancini ( scrumptious) and a platter with cheese and charcuterie. We paired the food first with sangria and then raki as Yahya ( the manager) recommended us. He mixed the raki for us and he shared with us his tradition and suggestion in how to enjoy this delicious Turkish drink . We ended with a superb cheesecake thank you chef !😊 Relaxing environment like home, kindness and smile always with Yahya. Thank you for the experience! We will come back

I wasn't sure where to hold my 'Leaving do', but I needn't have worried; YaiYai and Yeter were so warm and friendly. I loved the layout of Aroma Gusto (Isabella Street). Clean and spacious, but if under 30 came, the venue felt just right. I estimated 70+ actually attended - it was very comfortable. I had a choice of delicious Bar food, which was fresh and excellently presented with side plates, forks and napkins. Excellent work YaiYai and Yeter. I would easily hold another event there. Thank you for all the hard work that went into to making it an excellent 'Leaving do' evening.

Extremly bad service

Extremly bad service. We were celebrating a big birthday (50) and everything went wrong. The waiter forgot to even take order from a few of us, half of us had eaten up before everybody even got their food and we needed to ask them to take away our empty plates. We also sat without anything to drink for almost half an hour. We were so dissapointed, and afterwards they said they didn’t know it was a birthday-celebration, which was a lie, we saw when we came that it stood under our name.

Reading other reviews,I had to check it was the same restaurant we visited! We got the distinct feeling we were in the way rather than paying customers. We were told the other menu besides tapas was too difficult for them to cook. The waitress was quite short with us and by 10pm after spending nearby £200 for 8 of us on an important family outing, we we told to drink up and go. They then proceeded to turn off all the lights,so we were sat outside in the dark. Rude and unwelcoming.

We would highly recommend Amora Gusto. We asked for five adult set meals. The waiter advised us that four would be suitable for the five of us which saved us £35 and it was more than enough. It included drinks and four of us shared a jug of sangria. As I don't drink, I chose a non-alcoholic cocktail which wasn't on the set menu assuming I'd pay extra for it but they included it in the set meal. The food was great and the staff were lovely. Ask about the doors.

Great food, mostly amazing service!

Meeting a girlfriend at the weekend, and we are bother suckers for Tapas, As we were staying at the Ibis Blackfriars, this was perfect as just around the corner. I will start with the only 2 negatives. 1) there was a female serving, and she could do with learning to smile, and maybe saying more than just the name of the dish. Seemed a bit hard work. 2) Need to drum up a bit more business, may be direct people where to sit rather than offer an completely empty restaurant. 7pm on a saturdayy, many would of walked away. Positives, i am so glad we didnt walk away! The young lad who served us was an absolute delight, really great, and helped with guiding us on how many dishes to order. The food was really lovely, cannot fault it at all, so i am unsure on past negative reports i have read. Not too pricey either. One thing, 99% of Tapas places i have been to offer a shot of limencello or similar. Just a tip! ;) Encourge people to talk about you, and come back! Give these a try if you are considering it!

Lukewarm, under seasoned food.

The restaurant itself is stunning, beautiful interior decor, however that’s where the positive comments end. The place was empty at 6.30pm on a Friday evening compared to Jacks bar next door which was heaving. My husband and I didn’t fancy eating however had promised my daughter we would after having decided on the restaurant online (she’s on the spectrum and not one for noise or last minute change). We asked the waiter how many tapas dishes he would recommend, and which he thought were good and he replied that he did not know. He may have been new, however I would have expected him to find someone that could make a few recommendations. The food came out on cold plates and was all luke warm (except for the paella which was served on a hot plate, however it was pretty bland visually and from a taste perspective) The lamb meatballs were a little over cooked. The patatas bravas and patatas aioli had no seasoning at all. The calamari was sitting in a puddle of oil. There was a chicken and olive dish that was quite tasty but other than that the food was disappointing. Waiters tried multiple times to take plates that still had food on them. I understand making more room, but there’s an etiquette to this, and plates should only be taken when clear, or once the customer has confirmed that they are finished. We would usually feedback at the restaurant, however no one asked how we were, or if the food was ok. Such a shame as the place has great potential!

Beautiful, friendly Tapas restaurant

I visited Amora Gusto with my husband and daughter after we'd played some games at Electric Gamebox nearby (which I also highly recommend!) What a stunning gem this restaurant is! It's beautifully decorated inside and out - like a little oasis of calm that transports you from central London to a quaint Spanish village bursting with character. Friendly, helpful service - the wait staff went above and beyond to make our meal special and they treated our 5 year old daughter like royalty, which she loved. The food was lovely too - authentic, tasty tapas, washed down with some delicious Sangria. I'd highly recommend a visit and we'll definitely be back!

Avoid here and go somewhere nice like Bala Baya or walk to Borough Market

The food was less than mediocre. The paella was cooked in a rusty old pan and I could taste the rust in the paella - not pleasant. When I pointed out the rust and that I could taste rust to the waitress she said that all the pans were like that and dismissed my comments. The patatas bravas were horrible and soggy. Overpriced and not good at all.

Surprised by good food

Enjoyable dinner and good value for money. It was a total coincidence that we came in to this restaurant. Nice place with simple but somehow crazy theme in decoration - we loved it. The waiter gaves us good information regarding all the dishes you could choose from. All the 11 different dishes we had in our group was really good (2 dishes p.person is enough). Tasted delicious and going for the first time in a tapas restaurant with our teenagers it was really nice, they loved it. If I ever come here again I would ask to have the avocado tost bread served as a 2-3 small pieces and have the avocado and sun dried tomato's on the side. Really worth the money.

Never realised lentils could be that delicious.

Decided to book as it was early evening on a Friday and we had seen how busy other places in the area were during the week. Initially thought we may have made a mistake as when we arrived the large restaurant area was empty. But once the food arrived we knew we had definitely made an excellent choice! Between the 3 of us (2 adults, 1 teenager) we ordered quite a selection of dishes, all of them really good, but the standout ones for us were the lentils and the paella. If we stay in the area again we will definitely be going back.

You have to visit!

You have to try this restaurant! I'll start by saying that the restaurant was empty upon arrival. This has always made me think twice at a restaurant, and did again. The reviews were good but still an empty restaurant at 6pm was potentially a worry. If this is you GO IN AND ENJOY! We ordered a selection of meat, fish and cold dishes and each of these were perfect. We ordered another round of dishes and again, spot on. Calamari was on both orders by the way, superb! Staff were lovely and the setting was superb! Despite not being local, we will look to return! You won't be disappointed!

Hidden Gem

We visited at 6:30 on a Tuesday and there were only a handful of other diners in. The prices were on a par with those you see in the high street chain Tapas places yet the portions were much more generous. The quality of the food was top notch and the staff left you to it ( there’s nothing worse than constantly being asked if the food is ok). This is a great place and I’d not hesitate to recommend it to anyone

An excellent find in the heart of London

My son brought us to this restaurant as it had been recommended to him, and it was nothing short of delightful. The food and service was excellent. We sat outside in their courtyard and it was lovely to be able to share traditional tapas. Would heartily recommend.
