If there is one thing I hate in a restaurant, it is being asked multiple times if everything is ok and if I am enjoying my food. If there is one thing I hate more, it is not being asked at all if everything is...More

In a group of 8, we settled down to our annual post Grand National luncheon, which historically we warmly look forward to for the quality of the food and wine at Gilbert Scott - this year however was not the usual experience. The food was...More

I booked the three courses and a cocktail for £30.00 as I thought this was really good value. I didn’t therefore really expect to spend £125.00 for two. Everything else was extra - bread £4, sides average £5 (the mains came with nothing) and some...More

Fabulous meal in a stunning location with impeccable service. We chose from the set menu which was perfect for us. Our reservation was for 4 but I had to reduce to 3 the day before, we had specific dietary requirements and we outstayed our time...More

This is the second time I have visited Gilbert Scott. The first time was at the chefs table and it was a spectacular experience but I then visited Marcus in Knightsbridge shortly afterwards and it was contrived even to the point of inedible, so I...More

We went for lunch this Saturday. One couple had a voucher and one couple did not. As the holder of a voucher we were offered a very limited menu. Three starters (one meat, one fish, one veggie), three mains and three desserts. We were surprised...More

We went for a group dinner at the Gilbert Scott and sat at the « chef’s table ». The food was beautiful and the service excellent , we had a set menu and loved all the dishes, the wine suggestions were perfect. I will definitely go back.

I just took my 9 years old girl. They do have a kids menu. My daughter had "brilliant meatballs" and mac&cheese with truffles. The staff took care of her and she felt like a princess
