had a slightly disappointing evening at the Gilbert Scott. The ambience, the food, the staff were excellent. But the service was incredibly slow. Bearing in mind I had a 15 year old and 4 year old with me. I thought the staff might have been aware that it would be helpful to get young children's food on the table as... More

We visited this restaurant with our American friends. We wanted to show them the beautiful restoration of the iconic St Pancreas station, where this restaurant is situated. Our friends were truly impressed. We had a table for six folks. On a week day the restaurant was packed. We all had different staters and each one was beautifully presented. For main... More

Booked this as an anniversary treat for my wife (via Travelzoo) for the Taster Menu. Having researched the main menu on line, decided that when we got there we would ask if we could choose from the regular lunch menu, and pay whatever the extra charge would be. You will definitely not be disappointed. Superb service, relaxed atmosphere, such friendly... More

we booked a great prix fixe deal here in this incredibly opulent restaurant in St Pancras station of 3 courses with a free cocktail for £30 dinner. I loved my crab starter and my partner's ice cream dessert was memorably good. the live pianist really set a lovely atmosphere in this buzzy place

Delicious food and unobtrusive but attentive service. Lovely setting which adds to the experience. staff are well informed about the food and happy to advise on wine choices. Really enjoyed the pre lunch G and T from the drinks list.

I'm very very pleased to have had a meal here, but feel no need ever to return. The building is amazing: I visited long before it was renovated, and it's amazing to see it restored to glory - it's been done beautifully, and the restaurant is worth a visit just to see the place. BUT it's very very expensive -... More

Had a lovely dinner here after a busy day. Food was high quality. Service was excellent. I was not paying so I am unsure about price details.

Visited as part of a surprise trip, we opted for the 3 course taster menu and was very happy we did! The starters were great (along with extra bread), the main steak and plaice were superb as were the desserts - staff were all extremely friendly and their wine choice as well was great! They even did an extra special... More

We had gone because of a Travel Zoo offer and it was the most delightful experience. There was a five course taster menu and from the first mouthful of the first course we knew this was something special. Everything we ate was delicious we can't comment on dessert as we did not have that but the rest was just mouthwatering.... More
