Very impressed with the views over London in this stylish bar. Although two cocktails at £27 was a bit pricey, the views made up for that.

You're on the top floor. Nice full bar and restaurant (not a pub). Great view of Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Thames, and South London skyline.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday in August, we didn't book but there were tables available. The staff were attentive and polite. We had a long wait for our food to arrive but they did apologies. The food was average. The views were good and there was a nice atmosphere.

We went on a Saturday afternoon for snacks and drinks. If it weren’t for the views I would not go again. The place was half-empty but the staff was rushing around all the time. Someone paid attention when we sat down and ordered drinks. Afterwards we had to go to the bar for any additional order.

Technically not a review of the hotel but.......was told to visit the Sky Lounge for drinks and WOW! The cocktails and drinks are pricey but it is worth every penny. We arrived around 11:30pm and it was pretty busy. The outside area was full and the indoor lounge was bustling with bar snacks and cocktails. The bartender who served us... More

Wanted to have a drink and snack in a roof top bar in London and a friend told us about this place. Arrived at just after 2.30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Took 10 mins to be served by table service. Food ok but overpriced. Lovely view of Tower Bridge on a sunny day. Nice ambience but probably better locations available... More

The Sky Lounge on top of the DoubleTree Hilton at Tower Bridge is perfect for rooftop drinks in the Summer. I've joined friends for drinks on weekend afternoons when it's more relaxed and also of an evening it gets a bit more 'dressy'. The views over London during the day or night are fantastic and great photo-opportunities. The drinks are... More

Really nice views over London and a nice hour or so here. £6 for a little bottle of Peroni is a little expensive as were the cocktails for the ladies. But it is the view you are paying for.

My boss asked me out for a drink on Friday afternoon and as it was a lovely sunny day I asked if we could go to the Sky Lounge at the Doubletree by Hilton hotel. We have been here before but Friday was exceptional with the sun shining and being a Friday, everybody was in good spirits. We managed to... More

Fabulous for an evening drink, especially in the sunshine, bar staff need to be more attentive to their customers

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
