On my last (of many) visit to London, I was staying for the last 11 days of November in the Bloomsbury neighbourhood, two blocks away from this place. I visited it four times! It's located in Brunswick, a shopping Mall just across from Russell Square tube station. The place, itself, is nice - nothing special but certainly ok and clean.... More

I took my niece to patisserie Valerie today at the Brunswick Centre for a festive afternoon tea! The staff were very friendly and the tea was very lovely and tasty! I would definitely recommend it here

We gave this Patisserie Valerie a shot for breakfast and very soon wished we hadn't. The decor and furnishings are tired and basic, I've been in greasy spoon cafes with more charm. Service was slow and equally charmless. As the weather was poor, we tried to order more drinks and this seemed to take longer than eating our breakfast. Good... More

The shop might be small, but the mille-feuille was very good, both the cream and the puff pastry, which was appropriately crispy, although without caramel. My wife ordered a raspberry tart, which was also very nice. The next day I stick with mille-feuille, which was slightly less crispy, and my wife tried their cheesecake, which was also tasty, although unusually... More

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the Patisserie. The service was great and the meal was a good value. We also bought some desserts to go. They were heavenly!

We enjoyed breakfast twice while visiting London. Friendly service and quality food. I had poached eggs and scrambled eggs with salmon.

Went for a late afternoon meal before theatre, we ate outside and wife and daughter both had salads which were OK, I ordered a burger which was very poor. Firstly I ordered it with no mayo and made a point about ensuring it did not and was advised not to worry because it came on the side. When it arrived... More

I got a strawberry tart, it tasted as good as it looked. Just delicious. Whenever me and my boyfriend see a Valerie's we always get something.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
