Loved it! We were a group of 5 and arriving at peak hour they were efficient at seating us almost immediately - it was packed but they were not pushy - very friendly! We ordered the Big Boy which is the full English bfast but with a choice of 6 items for a steal 10.95£! We also had Eggs Benedict... More

As a group of 10 on New Years Day we rocked up looking for some seats, ideally together. Although we'd said that we understood if we could not sit together, they quickly went to the trouble of moving some tables around to seat us all which was great. The menu is simple, but has all you'd want from a simple... More

Went this morning for breakfast, the food is good but the main waitress is rude, abrupt and like a dictator. I've been going to this cafe for three years and the staff before were great. Shame really.

Came with family...Pit stop before Portobello Market. Worth service, not busy but still took 10 minutes to have one of the two waitress to take coffee order. Not interested staff.. Even when i came at the counter to pay for the bill..mobile phone priority..i manage to pay after she sent her text...Really ?

This is my favorite spot to get lunch in Notting Hill. My friends and I have been going here at least 2 days a week for the past few months. If you go on the weekend there can be a bit of a wait, but during the week you won't have to wait on a line to be seated. The... More

Mike's has a wonderful British atmosphere. It is small and cute. The food is delicious but nothing special. It is a nice place for a good lunch while walking trough the busy streets of Nottinghill. The staff is generally friendly but always in a rush (what was not necessary). All around a good Restaurant/Cafe but nothing special either.

I shopped too much today in Portebello Market today and found this place end of my visit. I have ordered the apple crumble and shake of fresh banana. The food is really good and I rest quite a while there. I can't finish the milkshake because the portion is good and I have to go to next stop which is... More

Came in with my Father. The omelettes we had were excellent and full of filling plus served with half a portion of non-greasy chips and a good sized fresh salad - all for £6. Tea is only £1.40 as well which is not at all bad for this area.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
