Haven't been for a few years but fancied breaking the dry January fast. Good idea too, nice beef Sunday lunch with all you could want plus a decent Welsh amount of home made gravy, perfect. Nice staff and prompt service. Beer options limited. Will come...More

Nice place open until midnight, with 2 private rooms upstairs each one with the terrace! Also tables outside the main entrance so a lot of space for smokers to take their drinks outside. Off the main road in a quiet residential area.

Had Sunday roast with friends. Lovely plate of food and very reasonable. Meat was perfect and gravy extra special! Sat out in the terrace which was fab. Highly recommended

This is a very nice pub. A bit showy but good. Good beers, Beavertown, nice cans etc... But also very good restaurant level food. The perfect trip would be to book a table upstairs outdoors on a Sunday and have an amazing lunch.

Great food that seems to be made with care and thought. My advise is break the rules and try the bread!

I love this pub, it's my local and it's a good one. Lovely staff and really good food with a great atmosphere. There are lots of spaces outside to drink and eat, including 2 upstairs balconies. Very popular pub.

Delicious and large roast dinners. The beef was perfectly cooked, though the roast potatoes could be crispier. Good helping of gravy, always appreciated :-) I've also been here on a friday evening and it has a cosy but fun atmosphere. A nice local feel that...More
