I had eaten there before twice, and had a great time. The restaurant boasts a lovely terrace, which is wonderful on a warm summer evening. This time, however, my experience was very disappointing. I had booked a special offer (£35 for a three-course set menu and a glass of Champagne) through opentable.com. The choice was *very* limited, and the main... More

The hotel itself is very beautiful. We were very warmly greeted and shown to our table, despite our early arrival. The afternoon tea was quite refined, beautifully presented and delicious. Very warm and professional service. Very enjoyable afternoon spent at Amaranto. Thank you.

Amaranto Restaurant was our fith time visit in less than a year and always with the deal of three courses meal. Everytime we eat there we feel like as the first time. Martina was our supervisor/server and in this occasion our evening was SUPERB! We loved indeed. We hope to be served by her next time we will visit the... More

Food was OK - not the most amazing Italian I have ever had. Ambience was OK - nothing overly special about the deco of the restaurant. Service was OK - could be a lot better really. Will I be going back ? No Thanks - should have popped over to the Theo Randall at intercontinental - trumps this place easily.

This is a nice restaurant with kid-friendly options. The adjoining bar is also a great place to relax.

Just had a beautiful afternoon tea today. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty. The sweet deserts were very delicate, light and beautifully presented. Thank you for the service team that made us feel very welcome. The British theme is very original and the creativity on the plates made the dishes very appetiasing. Thank you for the lovely experience.

A beautiful restaurant at The Four Seasons Hotel. Absolutely delicious food, great service, knowledgeable Sommelier and staff. Also the wonderful 'Veuve Clicquot Secret Garden' lovely, friendly, attentive staff.

Breakfast was the usual choices of continental or full English Breakfast. Both were good. Dinner offered a good selection of meat, pasta, etc.

We took advantage of the bookatable deal and just was not impressed with the offering. So many restaurants are signing up for these deals and just offering very average food, when offering these deals they have the opportunity to show what they can do and gain return business. We had a very chewy neck of lamb, no sauce and when... More

It was my sister's "big" birthday, along with my nieces we had been to a show and chose the Amaranto restaurant to finish the day off. We chose the Allegro menu which was £35 with 3 courses and a couple of tasters in between. Truly excellent value, exceeding expectations. We had water glasses and the waiters continually topped these up... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
