Beautiful dinning room, excellent service although a bit stuffy. If you like PF Changs don't go here. Fried rice was tasteless and mushy. Noodles? I didn't recognize the dish we received. This was our 50th Anniversary and was very disappointed. Really expensive for lousy Chinese.

It was our second visit there. Location is great as it's right next to Victoria station; seating was spacious; food was decent; service was appealing. It worked out to be £35 per head (dim sum lunch with tea, no alcohol) - for that price and that setting I expect better service. Thinking about it now, we should have refused to... More

Beautiful restaurant. Good service. The food as okay. They tacked on 20% Vat plus gratuity. Not cool with us.

I stayed at the Grovesnor Hotel and decided to pop downstairs for dinner. The prix fixe was extremely good value and had enough choice to be interesting. Make sure you ask for smaller duck portions if you're flying solo, they don't show 1/4 duck on the menu! Service was really attentive and overall I couldn't fault the meal there.

I brought a client for a Latish dinner and had salt and pepper soft shelled crab and (as they had run out of scallops) prawns cooked with glass noodles for starters. The prawn was slightly overcooked and the crab should have been crispier. For mains, we had the Szechuan dried chilli chicken, crispy beef, stirfried sugar snap peas (with fungus,... More

This a really beautiful dining space next to Victoria Station. We were seated quickly with menus. After looking at the menus it seemed like there should have also been Dim Sum menu. Asked and sure enough there was separate Dim Sum menu. Then we did not seem to have a wine list. Asked and then a wine list was brought.... More

We are staying at the Grosvenor Hotel (great place) and there are few restaurants open on Sundays, so we decided to try the Grand Imperial since it was in the hotel. The setting is lovely, the staff extremely helpful, and the food was the best Chinese i've ever had. It is a bit pricey but well worth it.

atmosphere is quite. A bit on the dark side. All the right table clothes and utensils. Service is good. Worth revisiting. Better than other Chinese restaurants in Chinatown or Bayswater

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. A lot of my husbands family (Chinese/Singaporean) came over to the UK for a family wedding and we hosted a celebration dinner at this restaurant. We were a party of 27 and the food was superb. Within our party there were some very influential people and a food critic. Everyone said how impressed they... More

Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present.
