Very Cantonese. The food was excellent as was the service. If you enjoy Chinese food, especially Cantonese this is the place.

Having tried a few places for Peking Duck, Grand Imperial is the best for this dish. Skilled waitresses slice the skin and pieces of flesh, removing the fat along the way. My favourite place for Peking Duck in London, and have yet to find anywhere that serves it better in London!

We were in London 5 nights and ate here 3 times! My friend and I couldn't get over how wonderful the food was. They have an amazing chef who is able to make even fried shrimp seem like a delicacy. My friend also had the banana fritter and vanilla ice cream which she loved. Even though this was fine dining,... More

We've been here twice and at both times, we had a pleasant experience. Food was really good. Good value for money. The décor was good too, and it is located conveniently next to Victoria station.

No great attention to service, I had to request drinks from passing staff whilst we all sat with empty glasses or nothing at all. I ordered chicken with ginger which arrived looking like a bowl full of anaemic shaved hamsters, very grey with little flavour. Meal for four people - £174. That was a two course meal with two drinks... More

After receiving a tip from the TripAdvisor, drop into this restaurant for dim sum. Great staff and the food was served piping hot from the kitchen. Very well presented and reasonable prices.

Having heard so much about Grand Imperial, I decided to book a table for my wife and her family from Canton. How disappointing! Our table was taken on arrival despite having booked in the morning, service was below par for a restaurant of this range, and the food was no better than Chinatown. I probably won't go back as there... More

This is a fantastic restaurant that are situated very close to Victoria station. The atmosphere in the restaurant are a well balanced mixed off posh cosy and the staff are absolutely the best you can find. When the food is delivered to the table the real experience starts. It's nothing but fantastic and if you like Asian fusion cuisine you... More

Passing through London we overnighted in Victoria, and arranged to meet our niece and baby for a dim sum lunch as close as possible. The Grosvenor seemed suitable from the reviews so we turned up at 12 on a Monday to be first to arrive. As you can imagine, being the Chinese Restaurant inside the Grosvenor Hotel, it was very... Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
