I attended. Work Christmas meal at The Plume of Feathers and wasn't disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient from start to finish and the food was really nice. I had a generous Beef Carpaccio to start. It was very fresh and an absolute delight. The roast turkey dinner was tastefully presented and of a high standard. Finished if the... More

Excellent Sunday lunch and very pleasant beers also. Feels really like a local pub (which of course it is) right next to one of the most famous parks in the world (which of course it is). Very pleasant meal. Good veggie food too. And it takes dogs in the bar area (which is great as it's next to the park).

Amazing pub!! You'll look for a long time to find as nice a traditional old pub as this. Sue the landlady spends a lot of money making this pub as comfy as possible without ruining the soul of the place. Not something that's easily done, just ask wetherspoons, ember inns, punch taverns etc who have systematically ruined 100s of pubs.... More

Lovely atmosphere, this is one of the oldest local pubs and was built after the great fire of London. Some amazing pictures and nautical references for the last 300 years. 4 hand pulled beers, you can eat at the bar or in the restaurant section at the back. We ate in the main pub section. Food was good. My eldest... More

Wonderful friendly English pub. Great food . I had the fish and chips which was perfectly cooked. My brother had the gammon ham , egg and chips which he always has when we go there. Then you can walk off your food with a walk in Greenwich park .

Packed pub on a Sunday lunchtime - bookings needed 7 - 10 days ahead usually. Fantastic food, and very friendly staff and service. They welcomed our labrador dog - it's so nice to have a (well - behaved) dog friendly pub. Will return with more of my family.

It's clearly a popular pub, you have to book, so make sure you do, to avoid disappointment. The welcome from the staff is very nice, polite and welcoming. They know what they are doing, clearly very good at their jobs and really nice people too. Service was quick too and you felt looked after. The food was very good, and... More

Another great meal at the Plume of Feathers. I had the Roast Beef and my wife had a Lamb Burger. Both very good as usual. Great atmosphere. Cozy. Open fire. Don't miss going here if in Greenwich.

I had my birthday party here: the staff were super friendly and helpful. It's a (rare) original and independent pub. Lovely!

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
